Er,,,,I understand that a very headlight racquet can make an otherwise heavy frame play "lighter" i.e. lower the swingweight, but er....exactly how does this work with sneakers? Are they "tail-weighted" in the heel?

Or, does the *balance point* determine the shoe's stepweight? :neutral:

finally, but I don't have any money, since i bought new shoes a couple months ago, and because of snowy weather i haven't been able to play for three weeks other wise i probibly would need new shoes. Also does the garuntee still work now?

I think its Chris, Spencer, and Jason, from left to right. The guy in the middle appears to have a Kobra, which is why I guess its Spencer.

I've used mine for 3.5 months here in the south and I've played quite a bit at 80 plus degrees including 87 last sunday. I thought breathability might be an issue but it's no problem at all. I come from using the cage 2's before and the CB 1.3 is better in every respect. I know TW exists to sell us products but their review is dead on.
I just bought my 2nd pair last week and they didn't seem to take as long to "break in". The reason being is that the cb 1.3 feels very different at first to other shoes. The cushioning is much better but it achieves that in a different way (if that makes any sense). It took me around 2 weeks back in January to get used to the feel but now I couldn't go back
Regarding weight, I dropped down from a 10 to a 9.5 and mine weight 16.25 oz. This is the weight of both of my pairs so I didn't get a random "light" pair. They are highly recommended. I play a good bit on clay as well and the traction there is excellent.

I used to wear the BC 2 as well and just made the switch to CB 1.3. To be honest, I think it is one of the best tennis shoes ever made. TW review was definitely spot on, they mold into the shape of your feet which made the fitting really great and comfy (just like leather boots for soccer). The support is also somewhat close to barricade in a different way but the CB 1.3 definitely have that low to the ground feel that I prefer. I also played it on the en tout cas and it still have alright traction, despite being a hard-court shoes.
and about the weight... seriously, no offence but if you can't handle the weight of sports shoes like the barricades or CBs, you really need to see if you have any problem with your legs muscles:-|

Lunarlite cushioning is no doubt terrific but the air max feature in the heel is less so. It's not uncomfortable and it's classic NIKE feeling. But now the Lunarlite technology has caught up to say SoLyte from Asics, the balance between the front and rear is off in the CB1.3 IMO. Maybe one day NIKE will make the CB1.3 without air max in the heel and go with Lunarlite. Wait a minute that's what Nadal and Federer are using... LOL

Do the CB1.3's really run 1/2 size larger than other nikes, i.e. Vapors and Breathe 2's? I have a medium width foot with low-med arch. The B2's are more comfortably to me and are "roomier" than my vapors. Any help would be appreciated!

I think your right, some people said their really stiff tho. And require a long break-in period.

I've found that to be true. I usually wear a 10 and had to drop to a 9.5 on mine. I just bought pair number 2 and retried on a 10 in the CB just to be sure before I bought them. I ended up again in the 9.5. The best thing to do would be to try on a pair yourself to be sure.
