TW: Shoe 'toe-box' room... Need comparisions

Hi guys,

STRUGGLING with shoe choices, and it's simply too hard to tell from the pics.

I have Prince T22's. GREAT toe-box room, cushioning is pretty good. Was looking for same, plus more cushioning.

I received a pair of gel Res' 3's from TW. They looked wider, in the pics, but sadly, the toe-box actually narrows. Tried a pair of Bab' All Court Reverse - same problem. Shoe pattern is narrower than the ProPulse...odd?

I liked the Bab' PP 2's with a better cushion, but the 3's now look like clown shoes (apologies to those who like them, but I thought it a huge step back from the blk/gold 2's).

Suggestions?

Need great cushioning - like Asics are reported to be

Need toe box room, like T22's.

Looks like this won't get any response, but I'll just add that HAD there been a foot-outline comparison chart, I would NOT be sending back YET ANOTHER pair of shoes - on YOUR dime!

I try to be respectful of TW's policies, and not waste your time (and money in shipping) - and mine.

I specifically asked if the 'true to length' matched up a pair of new Wilson Tour Spin (for clay) to an ordered pair of Prince T22's (hard court).

They arrived, and the 13 Wilsons are almost 3/4" longer than the 13 Prince!

A simple overlay or measurement chart would have let me see that a 12 Wilson is a 13 Prince, I would have gotten the correct shoe, and TW would not be sending, receiving, restocking, and sending.

Just my thoughts - and trying to save you guys so costs stay down for us all....

We have found Wilson and Prince shoes to be very comparable in length. When creating our fit descriptions we have 2-3 people try the shoes on (one narrow, one medium and one wide).

It sounds like you would like the old Prince NFS last which offered a wide toe box. Try the Vipers, Screams and also the T9. The T9 would be my pick out of all of those due to its superior upper flex and I also found the ride to be very cushioned.

Another wide fitting shoe with good cushioning is the new Head Insane.

Hi Chris,

I found the NFS are too sloppy, overall, for competition, and afford the same cushioning as the T22's, which I use for Open and Future-level matches.

I placed a Wilson and a Prince, side by side, heels to a wall. A 13 Wilson is considerably longer than a 13 Prince.

Sadly, a second pair of shoes is going back.
