I want to order the Nike n's Dri-fit piped crew.

I have read that the adidas shirts run a size larger than the nike's.
I have an adidas competition polo in medium and the fit seems just right. Should I then order a large in the nike?
I am slightly confused b/c I have a plain non-tennis dri-fit top and the medium fits the same as the adidas.
Are nike's tennis sizing different?

Adidas tops do tend to run large. However, before you decide to buy a size larger in Nike, take your measurements and compare them to the chart below. This is directly from Nike's catalogue and will be the best way to determine your size in Nike apparel.

SMALL: chest: 36.5", waist: 29.75"
MEDIUM: chest: 39.5", waist: 32.5"
LARGE: chest: 42.5", waist: 35.5"
XL: chest: 45.5", waist: 38.5"
