Twenty Questions

seffina

G.O.A.T.
Everyone has probably played some version of this game. I don't know if others are interested in playing or not, but no harm in trying.

RULES:

1. Twenty yes or no questions.
2. 1 question per person until the person running the game responds. In meaning, you can't ask a second question until your first question has been answered.
3. Five incorrect guesses add up to a question.
4. This one's obvious: Limit topics to tennis. Most likely you should try to limit your topic to a tennis player or a tennis match.
5. The person who guesses the correct answer gets to host the next game. Unless they don't want to, of course. But that's their "prize".

--------------------------------------

I'll show a sample game below:

I say it's a person.

Roger#1FAN: Does he or she have more than eight grandslams?
Me: Yes!
RafaSmileMakesMyKneesWeak: Is this a she?
Me:NO!
Djokovichasabackhandthatcanbeatupyourbackhand: Is this player European?
Me: No!
GulbisGOAT: Did they play in the 90s?
Me: Yes!
NishikorithegreatAsianhope: Is it Sampras?

Yes. You win Sampras's serve for one month.

---------------------------------

Hopefully, people pick some a little more obscure things. I'll go first.

It's a player.

Is this person a vegetable or a mineral?

...
Sorry, this is not a yes or no question. :)

Yes, I realize that. Attempting to be cute. In the most common version of 20 Questions, the answerer starts off the game by establishing if the object is animal, vegetable, or mineral before the 1st question is even asked. Sorry, I missed the fact that you had already established that we were looking for a (tennis) player.

I took it as a joke. No worries. :) If only I could pick minerals. As a geologist, I know about a thousand of them that regular ppl would never even think to guess.
