Two handed backhand - slice

I'm a 45-year-old lefthanded 3.5 singles and doubles player. My two-handed backhand is stronger than my forehand and sometimes (on returns) I'll hit around my forehand. Should I try to develop a one-handed slice? I've been trying to hit a two-handed slice but oftentimes I just get more of a backspin shot rather than a slice. Is it much more difficult to hit a two-handed slice?

My thbh is my bread and butter bh, but i would like to improve my bh slice too.
I suspect i overrotate with my bh slice swing - it is a common mistake by twohander.
I would be interessed on tips, how schould i correct this mistake without trainer or practise partner. ( in Winter i am happy if i can play a few times a month...)

1 handed backhand slice is one of the easiest shots to learn if taught correctly. If my skinny 14 year old girl can learn how to hit a great 1hbh slice, you can, too!

No reason to stick with 2hbh slice given the inherent disadvantage (lack of reach).

You absolutely should have a slice; it's the Swiss Army Knife of shots.

I think a 1HBH slice is easier than the 2HBH; I just could never get the feel for the 2HBH slice [and I have a 2HBH drive].

I can only think of a few on the Men's side with a 2HBH slice: Connors, Santoro, and Brooksby.

Try both and find out which one feels more natural.
