Two handed backhand

I use two handed backhand and I heard that with two handed you generate power with ur non-dominant hand and use ur other hand to control it. So in my case im right handed, so am I supposed to generate power from my right or left hand?

Funny you should ask this question because I was playing someone today with my left hand and I'm actually right handed. I use a 1 hander when I play naturally, but when I went lefty, I used a 2 hander like Nadal does. I felt myself using what felt like a baseball stroke so I'd say a lot of the power came from my right hand on the lefty backhand, but when I used to use a 2 hander in the past with my right hand, I believe I used to use more power with my right hand. In a nutshell, use your right hand for power if you decide to play a lefty 2 handed backhand. Just kidding.

Use your right hand.

If you are right handed you must use your left hand for the power and follow thru, your right hand will give you more control and help to provide topspin.

Check this video and practice as this person says, it really works. (at least about the use of the hands)

I found this video here and i think it provides a lot of help regarding thbh.

this is right. A two handed backhand is just a lefty forehand with guidance from your right arm. this is how you learn to hit it. as you get more experienced and become a better player, you will develope an idea as to how much work each arm does when hitting a backhand.

i agree that the left hand does most the work on a right handed 2hbh. i am a lefty with a 2hbh so my right arm does the work of pushing the racket through the ball. my left arm is the for guidance and stability i guess. i grew up batting righty though, so it comes naturally to me.
