I am right handed. I hit better two handed bh's with my right hand on top and my left hand on the bottom. I hit better two handed forehands with my left hand on top and my right hand on bottom--wrist injury--need to do this.

I witnessed a WTA pro doing this a few years back saw that she was doing this effortlessly -- w/o a hitch or noticeable delay. I was able to master this switch in matter of minutes. Once of my young (9 yrs old) novice clients was able to learn to make the switch seamlessly in less than 10 minutes. While she is pretty decent athlete, this student is not exceptional or unnaturally gifted. I just recently worked with a strong intermediate on a 2-handed FH. She learned to make the switch fairly rapidly.
This grip change maneuver is not really as hard as you think it is. Just practice this at home for 10-15 minutes. GO back and forth as cleanly as your can. In no time you should be able to make the grip change quicker than you can execute your unit turn. EDIT: I found this skill MUCH easier to master than learning to juggle (3 balls).
