"Two-Time Grand Slam Winner"

I found it quite interesting that in the April '05 issue of Tennis Magazine that there is a Wilson nCode ad with Federer that says he's won two Grand Slams. In the same issue, there is also a Head Flexpoint ad with Juan Carlos Ferrero that also calles him a two-time Grand Slam winner.

I guess that must be just some sort of generic phrase used by the racquet industry to call EVERYONE a "two-time Grand Slam" champion no matter how many the player in the ad has actually won. :roll: :lol:

Maybe I'm a "two time Grand Slam winner", too, and I didn't even know it. LOL.

they just forgot to update the number of grand slam Federer won. a mistake by wilson

They might have meant that Federer had won 2 slams with the N-code.

I know Ferrero won the french in 03 right? When else did he win it?

that's also the point of the thread, ferrero only won the french 1 time, no other slams, therefore "grand slam champion" rather than "2 time champ" next wilson add should be " pete sampras, two time grand slam campion"

Rumor

that Michael Chang 2 time Grand Slam champion has signed with Wilson to come out of retirement and use the n-code for his comeback.
