Tyger Stringing Machine

Recently I was looking at some stringing machines on the Dutch Marketplace and I came across a Tyger Stringing machine, don't see a name of the machine which version it is, but it has fixed clamps and a 6 point mounting system. I was wondering if Tyger stringing machines are good quality and if this would be a good machine to buy. Anyone here with some experience with Tyger machines?

I found a few Tyger machines on the tennis man dot de website but none are in stock. The tyger tennis website is down also.

Something to think about. What would you do if you needed parts for an old machine?

I’ve had 2 point, 4 point, and 6 point machines. All frames are going to distort during the stringing process and there are advantages and disadvantages for each of them. I wouldn’t listen to any of the ‘which one’s better’ conversations. When I first started stringing 45 years ago a friend asked what I’d do if I cracked someone’s racket. After over 25k rackets it has never happened with tensions as high as 80+ lbs and as low as 22 lbs.

EDIT: I’ve also strung wood, aluminum, steel, composite, and graphite rackets. Never broke one yet while stringing.

That sounds promising then. I will only be stringing for myself and my dad and sister so the cracking someones racquet wont be as big as a problem luckily

My first electric machine was a tyger T610. Pretty cool machine, I pimped it a little bit to make it slightly more reliable (different clamp bases and clamps), but it served me very well. Maintain it well, keep it calibrated and clean and it should be pretty consistent.
