You really have no idea what you're talking about. I suggest you try educating yourself.

first glaring sign of lack of logic: Use of the ad hominem!

" "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

Then get back to me.till then, BUH-BYE! :)

Telling you, you don't know what you are talking about based off reading what you write is not an ad hominem. At this point I am going to assume you were trolling me or incredibly dumb because no person of sound mind could honestly write a post as dumb as that last one.

Good win for Melzer, nice to see him into R4

Absolutely! :D
I was starting to feel sorry for him after getting beaten by Golubev and then the rookie Polansky. Crowd support seemed to be a bit more with Ferrero, but Jurgen really remained focused this time.

Shall I admit I'll be surprised to see him make it past roger to the quarterfinals? :o

I trust george orwell. He lived it. and his vision was oh so clear. a clear view of something extremely ugly. oh the idea is good. but it's always executed by fallen corrupt human beings. utopia is another word for hell when those people start runnign things. Ask the Roumanians, just for one example.

Communism does not equal socialism. Does not really belong in this thread, though, so email me if you wish

You and I are on opposite sides on this one, LG.

My tickets are for the upcoming week; I feel guilty now b/c I wasn't at the stadium cheering on JCF. I *really* wanted to see him play Roger.
:(

I'm not even gonna touch that ...

Also, wth is up with this schedule? I thought Roger preferred his night games! (And so would the networks, with their coverage!)

I planned my tickets around it. (Well, that and a couple of other things, but ...)

Not that I don't want to see Mardy, but is it more possible than not I am going to have to watch Fish-Djokovic *instead* of Roger on Monday night??

you started this whole thing by writing, "I don't like Americans, even though I am one." That's what you wrote, and that's what you meant to write, because you've written that exact, same sentence on these boards before. More than once..

National socialism vs. Communism. Doesn't matter what you call it. It's all Totalitarianism, where the animals who have made themselves "more equal" than the others "redistribute the wealth" by first skimming off the top for their own numbered bank accounts, then redistributing what's left over to those to do and say and think in ways that support the elite.

If you don't agree, please name one good, successful Socialist Regime that doesn't do that.

Just one, single one. Name it.

Capitalism is a system where hundreds of thousands starve to death every day while tonnes of food is never eaten in the west. This happens because food is made and distributed according to profit for business rather than for the wants and needs of the mass population. Ponder on that.

Stalinist regimes are not socialist. Orwell was referring to Stalinism with that quote about some animals being more equal than others.

Just one, single one. Name it.

Even Stalinist states, for all the totalitarianism, have planned economies, a huge positive. Cuba has free healthcare, free education, zero illiteracy and housing for all, despite being blockaded for nearly 50 years. That's more than the advanced capitalist countries can do, and they are now attacking ordinary people for the failures of bankers.

Apologies to everyone for going off-topic.

Anyway, back to tennis. That was a very good win for Kuznetsova over Kirilenko. She's one of the threats for the title.

I dont see her as a big threat for the title. Most likely the winner of the Wozniacki-Sharapova 4th round will take her apart in the quarters.

This is what happens when a third party butts in on a conversation between two other people: They ignore what's gone before and bring their own agenda to the table. I shall not continue this further w/Mustard due to its being off topic.

I simply point out that, for all his/her rhetorical misdirection, it still does not matter what you call it. It always ends in totalitarianism, and Mustard could not name EVEN ONE!!!

Who's that girl that's always with the Williams family? She sits next to Serena, and she was at Venus' training session passing and collecting balls. She looks cool.

It's so much better than that other errorfest was. Lordy Nico your backhand is so lovely. Querrey playing as well as I've seen him recently.

Announcer has commented that there are some very vocal Sam fans in the crowd. Didn't say that they were saying anything objectionable. Almagro has rabbit ears. Needs to just focus on the tennis. But today he just ran into a guy with a big game that was on. He's played well - Sam has just played better. Only thing I think Almagro should have done: played more to Sam's BH - his FH was lights out.

And Almagro served terribly, couldn't get his flat serve in the entire match and was even missing when rolling in his first serve. Good match from Querrey though.

What a fickle tennis year for the Yanks.

First half everyone except Roddick is sh*tty - and now everyone except Roddick is "the sh*t"

Rafa is such a dear. Getting interviewed on eurosport:

"You seem to get better and better with each opponent you face"

"No no, I'm not playing better than any of the other players"

Oh Rafa, you really are. There's only a couple of players who anyone can really argue are playing as well as you xD
