I nominate Fabio Fognini's, red and black blotches, worn in Sydney--makes Wawrinka's pink pants a few seasons back look conservative. But what do I know, he's Italian and they have a superior sense of style, fashion and industrial design--maybe I'll be buying it when it reaches the closeout rack at Marshalls. Good to see him back, he's always entertaining.

Another vote for Nike for the premature but surely ugliest outfit of the year

To be fair to Nike, Kyrgios rocked it in the Tiebreak Ten's. I guess it all depends. (I prefer the henleys from the end of last season though)

Wawrinka's shorts are the undefeated champion of ugliness. Agree with you though: Fognini's outfit was bad looking while his game was really entertaining.

Thanks for putting that up, I'm not good at this image transferring stuff. It's not as bad from the side view.

This could be worse (it is). The shirt or pants alone might be passable, but the two together are truly--I'm not gonna' say gay. I've never seen Raonic in this thankfully, this outfit took down his career--his body rebelled against it.

Holy crap Nike is taking to another level, this stuff is getting bad. Kyrgios looks even more like a clown now.

They keep pushing pink into all their designs and by now I think its on purpose not lack of sense, but instead they wanna attract more business or attention.

Wait until they release a black and yellow version of this.

Every road worker and a couple of road signs will be envious.

If I wore that silly outfit to my club.....I’d probably get beat up!

My gosh so many of these outfits are horrid. These are outfits for pre schoolers not adults.

I stick with the classic basic black, navy, or white tennis shorts with solid white tennis tee shirts.

Only Nike outfit for Roger that was good was the USO one in black or red but this one seen at end of video is another fail for AO

His USO look was Nike's silliest Fed kit all year in my opinion. The new AO one is basically a Wimbledon outfit with colored shoes. Way better than the pink clown outfits Nike's put the rest of their players in.

Tennis fashion defies all common sense and taste. It produces some of the worst colors and designs. And like a friend of mine says, there's that one portion that's stuck in some 1980's 'nerd at the club' look. And lately, the resurgence of fluorescent colors is done well in other sports, but not tennis.

What is this supposed to be? Headband I think goes with the shorts, but then this blue/purple in the shirt doesn't. And then the shirt itself....well, it's just horrible. I couldn't imagine going out on court wearing this. But I might have to if I'm under contract. Ugh!

Shame you did not like it, it sure wasn't the nicest but it was at least decent and I liked it over his AO outfit winning 18. Maybe we need a thread to show the great outfits of the past now that everything is terribly put together, did not use word design cause lol no design involved.

There's just too many contenders for me to cast a vote. Without a pic, I'm not sure of which 'pink' one you're talking about.

Of course there's many others, by many players. But while we're picking on Stan....
... which created controversy of course.
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/a...er-bemoans-Wimbledon-s-strict-dress-code.html
Twitter = "Condolences to the picnic table Wawrinka stole his shorts from."

If you're going to wear your boxer shorts, the top can't be too busy - give us a solid color that matches. I'm no fashion guru, but that I know.
So the question is, is a player limited to the 'set' sponsored shirt-and-shorts approved by them for the event, or can he start mixing and matching, to his own peril?

P.S. Those colors of Roger's are pretty garish too.

OK. I'm on a roll. I promise I'll stop after this.

I'll call this one a cross. Between.....

....a pie that you'd like to bake (the lattice)
    and
a 'tagger' ensuring that his spray cans are ready to go before he starts on his masterpiece on the railway car.

I'm sure many women headed out to the stores after they saw this to purchase this outfit.

I just saw Dimitrov play wearing this outfit. It's not right to want someone to lose based on looks alone....and that's what I did.

Sad... why do they all have to wear the same shirt? What happened to all the original creativity in Nike Company? If this was supposed to be some big promotion of the brand, it failed miserably

I'm okay with it too. I mean - I wouldn't go out and buy it or WANT to wear it, but at least the colors go together, and each color by itself isn't terrible. It's just flashy.
Apparel by Asics and by Yonex in my books usually don't offend. The Hydrogen stuff - yeah, it's bad and badass.

Which brings up another subject. When two players, sponsored by the same brand, face each other on court, don't you think it's strange when both are wearing the same outfit (like it should be organized that they wear something different)? It's like two football teams entering the field, both wearing their away jerseys that are very similar colors.

Andre's "jeans" shorts are very cool and were very famous. First saw Agassi wear it in 1988. Always wanted but never had it.

Yes I think its a no-go. Clothing company should make each apparel in two "inverted" versions (such as hockey dresses...). And players need biger balls to just say: "NO".

Why is Nike trying to make the outfits look like onesies?

It is almost like Nike is passive aggressive and has decided to take a shot at tennis players.

They look like the underoo pj my kids used to wear.

Call me whatever you want, but I wear classic Boast tennis shorts in Black, classic White, and Navy along with a solid color tennis tee shirt. I am there to play tennis, not look like some silly girly man.

That whole '88 Agassi look is a solid chapter in tennis history. Funny thing is that nowadays Andre says he regrets the long hair and rebel look. I'd say that's exactly what tennis needed at that time!
