my lineup of future reviews is already quite long. To be honest I doubt to visit your town. How would you describe Triax? I was looking at it few days ago actually.

triax is a crisp feeling multi with poly fibers…feeling of poly, durability of multi. Better off using soft copoly that provides good feel with sufficient comfort/durability blend.
I havent tried it full bed actually. But for my experience hit pro was not good. It killed the spinI am currently testing tour hex 1.23 / hit pro 1.30 hybrid in my angell tc95. Very interesting setup ! There are so many options with Mayami strings... very cool to mix them with each other.
@Venusmen how would you describe main differences between fullbed big spin vs big spin/tour hex hybrid? I think my goal would be to add a bit more power but also make the launch more linear with same spin potential. Ideally with great response and touch on volleys
I'll try them as well, hopefully side by side.Yes I like more spin for my forehand. Tour hex/hit pro might be my favorite setup because the spin is almost as good as big spin/tour hex, + the response and feel I get from this setup is so consistent. I was so confident hitting with it.
signum pro polaris/firestorm/poly plasma, ghostwire, cream, poly tour pro/airWhat do you recommend as a copoly with this characteristics?
Polaris is on my list to try !signum pro polaris/firestorm/poly plasma, ghostwire, cream, poly tour pro/air
oh no, on paper it looks like a serious luxilon original alternative :/I was unimpressed with polaris full bed but as a cross it does a really good job of softening up poly/poly hybrid
They said a few months back that they are no longer associated with Mayami.de@galapagos hey , how do you order Mayami strings when the location is in Europe. I am in the mayamistrings.com and after the checkout there is not even one European country in the shipping information. Mayami.de seems to be hacked or bugged because it redirects me to naturalgutstrings ,com

Thanks , they seem to have only 1 gauge available per string. Damn.what @Spoon said
you should experience a slightly more linear response and better volleys (in theory)Ok so I got two reels , Tour Hex 1.23 and Big Spin 1.25.
I think I will try fullbed Tour Hex and Big Spin mains / Tour Hex crosses. What to expect from BS mains / TH crosses??
Btw closed 16x19 pattern.
try tour hex fullbed then Big Spin is softer, more muted than Tour Hex.Ok so my FS Elevate came strung with Mayami Big Spin mains/ Tour Hex crosses @47lb. I absolutely hate the strings; they’re way too rubbery and muted IMO. I usually use shaped 1.15-1.25mm strings at high tensions (55lb+). About to put some Cyclone 1.20 in it @57lb. I like Cyclone but it loses its snapback a little quick for me; any other thin spin-friendly strings I should know about that keep their snapback a bit longer?
Have used Luxilon Adrenaline for about the last year. I love how predictable it is and it maintains playability for me until it breaks. I only tend to use stiff/crisp polys.
Are there any upgrades to this, maybe with bit more spin but with the predictable response? Signum Pro Firestorm sounds like a good shout?
I’m really glad I saw your posts. I have a buddy of mine that swears by Adrenaline. Like others here, he prefers Luxilon for the feel, consistency, and quality. Anyways, he liked ALU Power but didn’t like it’s playability duration, which I agreed with. He was playing with BBO for the longest time before switching to Adrenaline and now says it’s his favorite string.Yes Alu Power for me was the ideal string, but the price to playability ratio was never worth it.
Will give the Tourna a go! Thanks everyone.
I fully disagree with that. 4G is not stiff, dead etc4G is awful. Extremely dead and stiff. Nothing special in terms of spin or pop. The feel is horrid. It’s only redeeming quality is tension maintenance. But it’s known to kill elbows.
Jolly’s Polys has a good review on it I believe if you search the thread.
I also disagree , firestorm is very comfy but not durable, élément is not comfy, crisp and much more durablei found element and firestorm to be very similar not only in color but playability as well. Firestorm a bit softer and better ball pocketing but at the expense of durability.
Duly noted. The record will reflect accordingly.I fully disagree with that. 4G is not stiff, dead etc
Yes it is a great do everything well but not shine in any department, just nice and crisp, keeps playable until it breaks (6-8 hours for me) and had a consistent response.I’m really glad I saw your posts. I’m an Element user and it’s a great string but sometimes I do miss the stiffer feel. I kept it because the feel was still pretty good but control and playability duration were amazing. With your comments though, it sounds like I have my next test. Do you use regular or the rough version? Sounds like regular. What's your frame and tension?
New red code ?so...if you are following the right people on instagram you probably know that Tecnifibre is working on their new string...
i have no idea. It's a secret for now.New red code ?
Tbf I ordered a couple of set of Tour Hex from the Mayami website to the UK and it arrived fine - it just took a month to get here, so buy in advance of needing to string!Yes it is a great do everything well but not shine in any department, just nice and crisp, keeps playable until it breaks (6-8 hours for me) and had a consistent response.
I am using the normal version in 1.25 gauge. Racket is Vantage 95 (original Angell brand), I used to use it at 59lbs, now I am at 56lbs.
Have ordered some Tourna Silver7 Tour to try and compare. Interested in Mayami Hit Pro, but seems difficult to get in the UK. Let me know your thoughts!
Have you also tried the 1.25? I had it in stock since a few months ago and just tried yesterday. Coming for a really more sharper string it was interesting. Actually really liked it on 2nd serve. Backhand it was natural. Forehand I need to adjust to launch angle but I liked it towards the end. Very nice so far on volleys.Time for the beautiful Firestorm 1.30 ! Berrettini's string of choice. His tension is 23kg.
I have no idea how this string didn't get the love it deserves. It has almost everything. Feel, comfort, control. Spin could be a little bit better but its a round string so always limited a bit. I would say that's the closest string so far to Luxilon Alu Power 1.30... Alu Power still has slightly better response but overall they share a lot of similarities.
On hard courts I totally trust the string. Its forgiving, its solid, very consistent launch. To my surprise my 2nd serve was also very good with it ! First serve ? Still powerful. Net game? One of the best.
Slices? Ye...its ok because the feel is good. String really grab the ball. Its not bity but a gentle grab I would say.
On clay I wish it could offer more spin potential. Bounce changes and I need more RHS to put the ball inside. I just wish it was slightly easier here but its round and comfortable while for spin I guess better to have stiffer and shaped. On hard courts where the bounce is more linear I could take advantage of it take it faster and attack. On clay I need more tactics, angles, changing from defense to offense. Its tricky.
One word to describe this string ? Classic. I love the color. Looks amazing and very stylish. Its soft but not mushy.
Tension stability ? Hmm.. I tried this string at various settings. 23kg , 24kg, 24/23kg . My favourite was 24/23kg, especially on clay courts. On hard the difference was minimal but I prefer to hit out rather than slow down my racquet. It holds tension definitely better than alu power and slightly below Luxilon Original. Very similar here with Mayami Hit Pro. I am satisfied overall.
My best shot- backhand is still my best shot so all good here
This string is like a good friend. Its very honest but at the same time gentle and lovely. I decided to get myself a reel and experiment with different racquets too.
Overall I rate this string at 7.3. On hard courts its one of my favourites but on clay I already had some slightly better choices and I guess I need a slightly stiffer response from the string on this surface. HOWEVER the value with this string is amazing so this is a must try ! Especially if you are Alu Power 1.30 ice blue fan. My sparing partner already made a switch from Alu Power (previously Hyper G) to the stylish Signum Pro Firestorm 1.30 ! Maybe on clay I should try to increase the tension a bit more ? 25/23.5 kg ? Might try it next time ! But on hards I know 24/23 kg is max and optimal.
EDIT: I tested this string in some other frames and decided to give 0.1 more point It feels more fair. The feel is up there with the best round strings, its comfy but control oriented and grabs the ball very well for the round string. The price is hard to beat as well. Luxilon Original, Mayami Hit Pro and Signum Pro Firestorm are so far the best strings in this group (still have to try some more) . I think that picking the winner here will be hard and will probably come down to how much spin I can get from a feel and control oriented type of string.

I havent tried it but my two friends changed to 1.25 after showing them 1.30 in my angell. I guess i will have to try 1.25 in my Diadem and Tecnifibre RS! Maybe TF40…Have you also tried the 1.25? I had it in stock since a few months ago and just tried yesterday. Coming for a really more sharper string it was interesting. Actually really liked it on 2nd serve. Backhand it was natural. Forehand I need to adjust to launch angle but I liked it towards the end. Very nice so far on volleys.
side note: coming from Tourna 1.25, firestorm 1.25 added 2g.
Diadem Solstice Power 1.25 REVIEW
I couldn't resist but had to try it after reading so many positive reviews around here. Cool to see Diadem Europe department. How many years I had to wait ?
I'm not sure if that string should be placed in 6-sided group as it's in fact a 6-pointed star shape. (so 12 sides I guess?). One thing is clear. Among all the strings I tested so far this was one of the sharpest under my hand. Maybe a coincidence but I see my dampener is much looser and a bit destroyed from the inside lol
In terms of performance I can say that ye, it kinda suits 6-sided group but also sits somewhere between 7+ sided and 3,4 and 5-sided profiles group.
When it comes to groundstrokes it suits 6 sided "philosophy" of more neutral grab but with a bigger spin potential than round profiles. At the same time I would say the spin was much closer to 7+sided strings and occasionally I felt that overgrabbing on volleys associated with 3 or 4 sided strings...wow...so nerdy.
to summarize this long analize I would say it's a 6-sided string with 7+sided flavor? lol... it's a FRANKENSTEIN-sided string OK?!?
I would say it's semi-stiff. Stiffer than mayami tour hex, softer than lynx tour, definitely softer than tourna silver 7 tour. Hard to say but it's comfortable enough for me. Maybe most similar to Solinco Confidential.
top traits: control and spin - sounds like a silver7 tour competitor or volkl cyclone but offers better comfort than s7t and more feel than cyclone.
it holds tension pretty well and then drops extremely hard which gave me much more power and comfort (similar to solinco confidential but still solstice survived much longer)
I used this string in Diadem Elevate Tour (24kg), regular Elevate (24kg) and Head Prestige 360+ MP (23kg). Prestige was completely dead with this setup but it's a very control oriented frame.
What could be improved? The only thing that I struggled with was my second serve. This is not my best shot so I am very picky.
Overall it's a great addition to the list and I highly recommend this string to S7T (7.3) , Solinco Confidential (7.1), Mayami Tour Hex (7.3) and Head Lynx Tour (7.2) fans.
To be in that elite group means already a lot ! I rate Solstice Power at 7.3 !
It is more comfortable than lynx tour with even more spin, holds tension better than confidential but worse at 2nd serves. Tour Hex offers better serves and feel/touch but is not as neutral on my backhand. S7T offers even more control but is less forgiving.

definitely razor code but for example I would say solstice power was gaining in power but retaining launch angle while razor code was getting a bit higher launch. If that makes any sense... The initial drop of Solstice Power was rather quick but I could still enjoy it. Razor Code lasted me much longer but after "the change" I just couldn't adapt to it and had to restring.Curious if you remember razor code or solstice power having better longevity (in terms of playability)
should I string Element with same tension as Alu Power? It has more power than Alu right? ( I really like Ice blue alu if you are familiar with it)I’ve never played with Firestorm. Element plays like a softer ALU but with better playability duration.
I guess the same to feel the difference. Regarding power level, its subtle. Spin and feel is different. Depends on the racquet really.@galapagos - I have got a set of Razor Code 17g to try. Do you string it lower/higher/same as Tour Hex?
I like tour hex x hit prois there any poly that is just as good for power and spin as Luxilon alu power or alu power rough ? i mean quality and playability wise ? don't care about durability. Alu power is now hurting my arm and shoulder even at low tensions.
is that made by Tourna or Solinco ?I like tour hex x hit pro
also, consider a heavier racquet and/or gut hybrids
maybe tour hex x NG
Mayamiis that made by Tourna or Solinco ?
yyou mean like NRG ? what is NG ?Mayami
have you tried ALU Power x NG?
