Ultrashot 2…what happened?

Ever since the Ultrashot 2 came in early 2019, they were always on sale and I even got a new pair off of TW for like $59. I feel like even though they were such a good pair of shoes as they were durable, light, and supportive, not a lot of people bought them and sales weren’t the highest, what do y’all think?

First time I've heard someone call them light. But I do think they look pretty good. A big portion of kswiss users seem to be looking for a wider shoe. This one seems a bit narrower than the hypercourt shoes. Could be a reason?

Could be, hypercourt is definitely wider than Ultrashot. In terms of “light”, I kind of mis-worded that but I guess a better term would be “light-feeling” because when you look at the weight, it wouldn’t feel like that. Honestly, one of the best shoes I’ve ever worn. It was on-par with SCB in terms of durability too so it gets me about 4 weeks of play before the midsole’s exposed.

Great shoes, I've gone through 6 pair. You are right they do not feel heavy at all, they feel very fast for a durability shoe. The US3 looks good but the description makes them seem more narrow which is a bummer. Hypercourt Supreme are awesome shoes as well in a different way. K-Swiss making some good products!

K-Swiss stuff is always the best, just not well-known (maybe that's why the US2 wasn't so popular).

I thought the footbed was a weird shape. Not very many people could get a good fit with that shoe. The pair I tried were heavy, but well-balanced. They seemed much lighter than they weighed. I also found the sole to be quite durable but if it doesn't fit then it's no good.

Definitely not light. Very comparable to a Barricade weight wise. I tested a 2021 model that I think Covid killed production of last year. Loved it. Haven’t tried the current one but I’m getting a test pair of some model in the next few weeks so hopefully it’s the next variation!
