Warwinka wins!

6-4, 6-1. Def Meza
Still enjoying competing and winning.
He tidied up his UEs in the 2nd..
Clubbing the FH. Styling the BH.

He won his first ATP title there too.

Džumhur up next. Will be tougher I think.

I see De Jong Def M. Poljicak 3 and 3.
I watched his final against Darderi. He's back on the horse:)
Faces Navone next. Expect Def.

Cerundolo (the elder), Darderi and Navone are ones to watch for me.
Stan too for old times sake! Doubt he'll get past Džumhur though..

Washington is taking most of my tennis following time.

Jesper has a surprising tactic. High looping 2HBH followed by dropshot from the baseline. Works so far. Up a double break in the second set

I am growing impatient with some Argy players. Báez is in a slump, Etcheverry fell tens of ranking positions.
Fran Cerúndolo is playing tentative.
Navone going down.

Forza Jesper ! Now faces Fran Cerundolo. Next level compared to Navone, but if Jesper can make him doubtful / tentative, anything can happen

It’s Taberner who your favorite Jesper will be facing. Fran C. keeps playing inconsistently and was awarded with an early exit today.
I Just seen it. Surprising upset but indeed we both stated that Fran is in a bad patch atm. Jesper stated that hes running on fumes physically but his confidence is sky high atm. Again we see Tennis is such a mental sport.

Darderi a match away from the back-to-back titles. He's also unbeaten in tour finals (3-0).

He's starting slower this week than last and has done better after set 1 than in set 1 in all three matches this week. Probably feeling it a little, which is one reason I expect him not to play Canada, despite being in the draw for it.

Seaside double for Darderi, with titles in Bastad and Umag, but given that he rolled his ankle about three points from the end, I think his chances of playing Toronto are single digits, percentage wise.

He sprained his ankle two or three points before the MP.

He has now officially withdrawn from Toronto, which will surprise nobody who saw the end of the Umag match yesterday. I bet Alejandro Davidovich Fokina withdraws from Toronto, too, because tonight's match will take a huge emotional toll on him, and I also think he was very tired physically at the end.
