Do you the difference between ignorance and apathy?
What he means is, "I don't know, and I don't care"
Well no-one's said Djokovic was the most oppressed person in the US.Ah yes, Novak Djokovic the straight, white male is the most oppressed by the US.
LMAO.
That is unfairy of you to discrespect the poster. He is struggling with the dilemma of it, which is very distracting.WTH is that word? Unfairity? LOL. Is this the new " a digrace, an scandal, a outrage" thread?
Nobody has a problem with Eastern Europeans in America, just with tools of any nationality. There’s definitely a stigma against Eastern Europeans in America. Someone should tell them the Cold War is over..
I hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake. That is unfairy of you to discrespect the poster. Why skip a press conference and give $20,000 to the same entity that disqualified you from the US Open? A stupid move if you ask me. If you want to throw $20,000 away give it to a deserving charity.
Sorry man, the rules were clear:
Umpires & Linespeople = DQ
Ballkids and cameramen = Fair game

Bedene got lucky and didn't injure the cameraman so a warning was considered appropriate in his case. Djokovic (after several previous incidents in his career) did not get so lucky this time and so the rule had to be applied. If it hadn't been, the rule would have been brought into disrepute.
This here post belongs to the tributary threat.Maybe camerman very tough as he big man and fat. Not fall over like strange lady Novak hit. But maybe he wake up next day with sore arm and cant camera. If angry player hit ball very hard in anger and smack linesman in face, but not hurt because he is worlds toughest man, does player not get disquafilication because tough man not hurt?!
Much unfairity in this.
We have others to really pray forLet's pray for the line judge to make a full recovery.
It's not just America that dislikes Djokovic. Have you seen the crowds at Wimbledon, who uniformly detest him? How about Rome, Madrid, even Monte Carlo, where he lives? He's an unpopular #1, get over it. And his popularity isn't going to be going anywhere but down after this disastrous summer for him. I have no understanding of why most of his fans are so desperate for him to be loved like Fed. It's not happening, so move on.
You are hard to understand.
Wow. Such a rolling coster of outstanding pros. Sir, u got my vote for poast of the year.I hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. Grate poast! You are quite the word smith. It refreshes to see the english langage given such respekt and luv. Will Shakespere, the Beard of Avon, is rolling over in his graveWow. Such a rolling coster of outstanding pros. Sir, u got my vote for poast of the year.
I'm pretty shore it is holehurtedly though. I just checked the dictionery.
The lines woman incident should forever end people awarding slams to players before they lift the trophy. Even though Djoker was prohibitively favored to win #18, an upset was always possible. 2009 USO is a perfect example of that. There is only one person to blame and that is Novak. The fact that this cost him a slam means nothing to the rule.
Why they pick on Novak? I dont know and i struggle with moral dilemma of it.
Last week i see Ajax Bedene at Cinicinatti hit ball straight at camera man with some much anger when facing him. Camera guy is not dead and feels okay. Does not need to go off to bathroom and call solicitor so Bedene just get code violation and keep playing.
Novak not looking and hit ball backwards to ballkids. Ball hits lineslady who falls down with much blood. Not. Umpire says she went off for bathroom break so must be default. Why? If linesman was man and did not collapse and need bathroom break, then Novak just get violation?!
This is very not fair, and shows we must have tough men as linespeople rather than ladies who collapse, for we do not need unfair defaults.
i guess everyone loving Marat Safin flew under you “the western world hates Eastern Europeans” radar? There’s definitely a stigma against Eastern Europeans in America. Someone should tell them the Cold War is over..
There is a lot of truthiness to this stamen.Well someone did have to invent words in the first place. The English language continues to be bolstered. And this is only fairity.
Let's pray for the line judge to make a full recovery.
is the line judge in peril as a result of the incident? I’ve not seen anything at all and assumed that like 99.99999% of people who are hit with a tennis ball, she was fine.
The difference is that Safin was gorgeous, funny, personable and had an amazingly entertaining game.i guess everyone loving Marat Safin flew under you “the western world hates Eastern Europeans” radar?

How unfairity of you to belittle ESL members. You are defaulted from this thread after your grenade post strikes OP in the throat.WTH is that word? Unfairity? LOL. Is this the new " a digrace, an scandal, a outrage" thread?
Tell that to Tim Henman.Sorry man, the rules were clear:
Umpires & Linespeople = DQ
Ballkids and cameramen = Fair game
Maybe but he is going to be actively booed harassed and intimidated at every tournament now probably. Federer fans are everywhere and they will go to town on him. He has struggled up to now with hostile crowds. As McEnroe said it will be a lot worse now.It will only fuel his fire more than anything else..
So it wasn’t because he’s Eastern European. So the point still stands. The difference is that Safin was gorgeous, funny, personable and had an amazingly entertaining game.
Andreas Egli is Swedish I believeI don't know why you have US in the title, but the tournament referee does not seem to be an American.
I would cast Emma Stone as the lines woman. Sean Penn as Pablo Carreno Busta and Chrisrtian Bale as the super intense and combustible Novak Djokovich.Casting the Djokovic incident:
Judi Dench as the lineswoman
Hunter Parrish as PCB
Idris Elba as Novak Djokovic
Swiss.Andreas Egli is Swedish I believe
To be brutally honest, east Europeans are well liked everywhere, it’s the Serbs that are disliked, and not only in the US. I have no idea why...
Australian crowds who love him (ATP Cup? AO?)

The vast majority are people who fled Serbia, most around 20 years ago.
We've deported many, sent some off to be tried for war crimes and there are still a disproportionate number involved in organised crime. Those are facts that will cause some people to cry racism, but they are just facts.
Are they all bad? Of course not. I have a couple of mates of Serbian decent who are good people .. and they too acknowledge that we had a lot of scum come here from Serbia that we'd be better off without. Dimir Dokic and the Tomic family, if you'd like to bring it back to tennis.
There were many drunken Serbia fans ejected from the crowd for terrible behaviour at the ATP Cup and this has also happened at the AO. You get the occassional problem with fans of other ethnicities, but it's a constant problem with the Serbs.
Cry all you want, these are just facts and pretending these problems don't exist doesn't help solve them.
You and @Bender won this thread. Maybe the year.Casting the Djokovic incident:
Judi Dench as the lineswoman
