Yes, he is. 'In 2021, Federer invested in Swiss athletic apparel company On, founded in 2010. Terms were undisclosed, but various reports have estimated his stake to be around 3% at a purchase price somewhere near $200 million.'Federer and Uniqlo are getting exactly what both want from the deal. It is not superficial stuff like selling a bunch of merchandise. There partnership is behind the scenes that this forum can’t see because you are not mature enough to see it. Also Federer may invested in ON along with brand ambassador but he is not an owne.
He DOESN’T OWN the company.Yes, he is. 'In 2021, Federer invested in Swiss athletic apparel company On, founded in 2010. Terms were undisclosed, but various reports have estimated his stake to be around 3% at a purchase price somewhere near $200 million.'
Agree, but instead of 50 washes, my experience is 5 washes are more than sufficientI knew that Uniqlo would remove the logo from future clothing so I bought 20 Uniqlo RF hats, 20 shorts with Uniqlo logos on sale for $14.90, and ten Nishikori shirts with Uniqlo logos on sale for $14.90. FWIW, the logo does fade after about 50 washes in the washing/drying machines.
You said, "but he is not an owne.(r.). Yes, he is AN owner. He DOESN’T OWN the company.
It’s been well documented that Fed’s deal with Uniqlo was $300 million over 10 years; you must be one of the only people on this board who is apparently unaware of this.Nice try. Your ego and mouth is too big to want Federer with Uniqlo. Federer doesn’t discuss dollar amounts or terms concerning any of his deals. So your claims are BS.
I think you mean ‘their’ partnership, not ‘there’ partnership; the possessive rather than the geographical form.Federer and Uniqlo are getting exactly what both want from the deal. hey 吉亚夫 whats upFor the Chinese market that I'm familiar with, anything with RF on it will sell (out) almost instantly. If Uniqlo came out with a new Federer kit every month it would sell out every month. Not sure why they're not utilizing one of their biggest IPs.
I've been seeing ON everywhere I've been in the US. A few years ago I had never heard of them. Maybe it's just a fad, no idea.I don't think ON has a big future ahead, the market is already supersaturated.
Yeah they have a good marketing sense with endorsers like Zendaya alongside up and coming sport specific sponsorships - theyre certainly doing it right... and targeting the high end and influencers etc... so yeah idk, they know what they're doing, I think On will be around but I don't think they're really competing with Uniqlo - they're completely different companiesI've been seeing ON everywhere I've been in the US. A few years ago I had never heard of them. Maybe it's just a fad, no idea.
ON winning at the moment, their stock is gone insane alsoSeems like Uniqlo has disappeared from tennis.
Supposedly Fed has until 2028 with Uniqlo.
Yet seems he does more stuff for ON (I know he is part owner), but I haven't really seen any new Uniqlo.
Also on top of that on the pro tour I see athletes in ON--but no one in Uniqlo?
I wonder if Uniqlo feels the tennis market just wasn't rewarding enough to continue to invest???
Is Fed giving them the cold shoulder?
I have this Uniqlo short and the logo is still there after 30 washes/dry:Agree, but instead of 50 washes, my experience is 5 washes are more than sufficient
lucky youI have this Uniqlo short and the logo is still there after 30 washes/dry:
I also notice the same thing. I see so many ON shoes in high income areas, especially on the Pickleball courts.Yeah they have a good marketing sense with endorsers like Zendaya alongside up and coming sport specific sponsorships - theyre certainly doing it right... and targeting the high end and influencers etc... so yeah idk, they know what they're doing, I think On will be around but I don't think they're really competing with Uniqlo - they're completely different companies
