Uniqlo.com. NYC and SF have stores.

Many cities in Asia. HK has 2 stores - one in Kowloon (Harbouplace Mall) and 1 in Causeway Bay. Shanghai has 2 or 3 now. I'm sure Tokyo...

And The Big Auction Site.

If they care at all about the US market, they'd piggyback off of Kei's success and at least offer some of his lineup of apparel on their website.

I saw some uniqlo available in Seattle in addition to the City and the City. Very little tennis stuff, and tons of casual wear. I think it is a successful brand among teens and college kids. And hipsters, maybe, what do i know?

I got a pair of their shorts. Not expensive. Decent quality. Nothing special other than the fact that kei and nole wear it well.

Truth is, when i wear them, i am just a better, more flexible mover. I am not kidding.
My car runs more smoothly after i wash it and wax it. Or get the oil changed.

Online, there are a couple of Japanese online stores on Rakuten that sells Uniqlo Djokovic and Nishikori gear.

I went to the Uniqlo store in Paris and specifically asked for the tennis line (In French lol) and was told that they do not carry any tennis/sport clothing at the location.

The US and Australian Uniqlo online stores have the Novak collection for sale.

Kei's collection is only on the Japanese online store if I'm not mistaken.

Djoko's stuff can be bought on line guys. I regularly buy uniqlo apparel on their website (i live in europe). Quite fast delivery, cheap material but with a really good quality

I went to buy Djokovic's maroon USO polo, but the image on the website seems more of a bright red than Nole's night outfit. Strange...

I got the 'Wimbledon' stuff - shorts are similar, but the polo didn't have the piping on. Still, had all the badges and was dead cheap so can't complain

Not the most exciting brand, looks dull to me.

Dude, i felt the same, then i realized i was missing the point!
It may look like it was designed by boast in 1982, but it is the mediocre quality you need to see and feel.

It is a fairly cheap poly with average fabrication and unspectacular stitching. Their design team goes out of their way to avoid colorblocking because colorblocking would be too cliché...so they do solids with piping or small striping in an ironic way because that is simultaneously more and less innovative.

Also, the logo and the name (uniqlo...unique clothing) really tie in with the whole ironic, "so normal it is weird and so weird it is normal" concept. Unless there is something lost ina translation?

It's actually very strange. Uniqlo's biggest endorsers are Djokovic and Nishikori and yet their stores carry virtually zero tennis line.

I disagree.
I think that some uniqlo apparels are really great

for instance:

or

or

quite simple but really stylish

Well, as written before, i'm currently using quite exclusively Uniqlo stuff, as it is quite cheap (compared to Nike/Adidas/Lacoste) and i think quality is ok. I was using Nike and Adidas before and i can tell you that i do not find a great difference. If you also want to consider that Nike and Adidas are selling their stuff at really high prices nowadays....

The quality is poor compared to Nike and Adidas..

Nike and adidas....whose quality is not exactly great. Hmm.

What about Li Ning? All of a sudden, i really like li ning and i want to wear it so i can serve great and rip the ball like Marin. How did this happen? Where can you get it?

In China? I don't think I've ever seen one single person with any Li Ning gear or even mention Li Ning in passing.

Agreed on the quality for Nike and Adidas apparel. Some are great, whilst others have similar or even poorer quality and feel when compared to their basic Dri-Fit/ClimaCool range despite charging a hefty premium due to endorsement by the big tennis stars.

Regarding Li Ning, not sure if you were being sarcastic but Li Ning is mainly sold in China, though some shops in South-East Asian countries do carry them under badminton apparel. Their online shop doesn't offer international shipping outside of China either.

Did you try it? I thins Nike apparel is absolutely poor nowadays. Adidas a little bit better. This's my opinion of course

Li Ning is a rising star in the sport apparel world.... look at Dwyane Wade, he's endorsed by Li Ning. I hated their older tennis apparel but now they're starting to produce good looking stuff

well, Fed's new apparel (Polo + shorts) costs 96 euros, Djoko's costs 70...it's not half the price, but 26 euros make a difference ;)

I find the athletic apparel from Uniqlo to be of good value and of reasonably high quality, as compared to Adidas or Nike. I'm also a big fan of the (mostly) minimalist, plain design of their clothes.

However, I do wish that they would bring in the apparel with the boxed Uniqlo logo that Djokovic and Nishikori rocks into my area. Not sure if it's unavailable in the States as well, I find the overall aesthetic to be superior to what's available here.

ABSOLUTELY the opposite. I have been using Adidas since 2006. Combining with UNIQLO since 2012. All of my UNIQLO stuff looks like the day I unpacked it, Adidas (2012 collection), not so much any more... UNIQLO is cheaper, better quality, "lighter" and more exclusive. Less choices, though.

Can't be any worse than stuff I buy from Express Men's. Those shirts fall apart and fade so easily and i'm paying premium for a name.

They have a Uniqlo in San Franciso and recently opened up one in Orange County / Los Angeles. Will probably go drop by the OC one tomorrow.

It does run smaller for us, Americans, which does not mean they are too small. however, it does come in XL, too.

Their flagship store in SF's Union Square had -0- Novak; I searched and searched and couldn't find a -single- item in XL. Nope.

Selling just S M and L to an American market is a sure way to a store closing. 14 year old students will not sustain your biz longterm.

Uniqlo athletic apparel is great; I'm glad its relatively limited distribution prevents a greater presence in the U.S. Americans can keep their overpriced polyester.

I was surprised to learn during a recent visit however that Uniqlo is barely two retail stores in Hong Kong. I thought they would've been a much larger concern there.

Agree with poster above that Uniqlo is a Japanese Old Navy. Indeed even a notch above. Uniqlo gets my money more than ON or The Gap, and has for a long time now.

Again, you're talking nonsense. ALL of my shirts (but 2014 FO) are XL and ALL purchased in the USA.
I wear L in all other brands, and UNIQLO XL is a bit loose on me. However, UNIQLO L is on a "tighter" side. Something in between would be equivalent to Adidas L.

Did you approach the staff?

Because you're absolutely right, there isn't a market in the world where XL wouldn't be available as an option.

yeah I tried it... Material selection and stiching on the seams are poor for performance sports gear. If you are buying them for casual wear, it's perfectly fine. Just not high quality sports wear.

They're all over London. I don't recall seeing tennis gear, even in Wimbledon which was my nearest. I'd say they are similar to Gap- nice quality jumpers etc

Well, I was there, and they had no Novak, and none of the shirts I looked at were above LG. Sorry if you don't believe me, but that's what it was.

Just seen Novaks US Open wear, not much to say about it apart from we have kind of seen it already at the Australian Open :/

They are doing what Adidas did to Murray in 2010

Haven't been to their store recently, but the last time I went there, I also didn't find any tennis line either. I think they advertise to promote their general product line, which is mostly (if not all) non-tennis.

I notice many non-tennis specific clothing brands sponsor some of the lower-ranked players.
