Unspeakable Arrogance!

What a beautiful home and view. It takes Roger-Money to get that address. Very Euro-chic.

DUDE THATS MODEST COMPARED TO WHAT PEOPLE WITH HIS WORTH BUY

Roger is worth 200million more or less (probably more) a house for his family, and probably parents, that big is just fine

yeah its a big mansion but its not like he is reaching beyond what he has

federer could easily get a mansion 4 times the size so tbh this isnt that bad

Ugly house but how is that arrogance? He has earned his money legally and it is up to him how he spends it.

the home cost around 30 million from waht i found and he has other 8figure homes in dubai and the alps

but with what hes worth he can do that

Not the most beautiful house in the world, but definitely not arrogant. If Fed and Mirka like it, good for them.

Penthouse? So he only gets the top floor?

Also, no backyard. *envy dropping*

How unspeakably arrogant of an unspeakably rich guy like Federer to want to live in an unspeakably big house like unspeakably rich people do!

Doesn't Nadal own an entire apartment complex? How arrogant of him to buy an entire residential building.

sir pete of pistol moved out lol. anyone know why ?..the views are fantastic. wasn't it built for Sampras from scratch ?

Isn't it rather creepy that we can see a photo of his home? I'm sure Roger didn't release these to the public.

I don't see how that is arrogant, entirely up to him what he does with his money.

Brutally ugly house though.

Sampras' house was nice closely followed by Rafa's.

Sampras' house is spec-built kitsch and Nadal's are in the same style only more right angled and open to nature.

What an ugly house. Sampras' 25 mil. Mansion was 100 times better. Fed with all his money should learn a thing or two from Sampras.

Sampras barely lived in this house before he sold it to move into a quaint cottage style, but large, house with picturesque garden.

I like small, minimalist homes. If I had Fed's money I'd still be content living somewhere that's enough for what I need.
A huge house is a bit creepy to me, with rooms I'd never even go in, etc.

Probably Mirka chose this design. We all know after the Stan incident how dangerous she can be, Fed must have just kept quiet. :(

Federer has a large family, nannies and the like and the position has similarly sized expensive houses.

The house seems to be built in concrete with windows for walls overlooking a lake so it will be attractive when finished.

They moved to a smaller house and sold that mansion for 20 million. The original price was 25 mil., but they got a quick deal and settled for 20 million. The new house is a lot smaller, but for a family with 4 members, a palace-sized house is probably way too much for them.

It's in almost the same style as Nadal's houses, only curved.

Nadal's house looks simple, yet elegant. Fed's got a lot of flare put in, it became unsightly. Don't get me wrong, it definitely would have all the luxuries of an Elite millionaire like Fed. But to me, he could have done better. To each his own, I guess.

Please come to the 3rd world, bro. You can live in cramped homes, where when your neighbour stretches his feet, you can't close your door/window. You know what your neighbours cook, the affairs of their house, how often they fight and over what.

I'd any day take a house with more rooms than i will ever visit, to the life-long "crawlspace" that is life here, haha !

And acres of grassy lawns around. Trees, plenty of 'em.:)

NC is a beautiful place, btw, used to come there for some white water rafting in the 90's. Some place with a native Indian name.

Nadal's is a little more spare and sylishly simple, but Fed's position is like the 'dress circle' overlooking the lake so it works where it is whereas Nadal's wouldn't and vice-versa.

I prefer Nadal's or the ones cited above as well, but not where Federer located his house. Tiered concrete terraced houses work there, but I suppose he could have afforded a less safe architect.

Sampras is actually actively involved in the real estate business. He bought a house in Beverly Hills for about $8 million in 2001 and sold it for $17 million in 2008. Then the one mentioned here was also sold for a hefty amount (~$20 million) and he himself moved into a smaller house which is actually nicer imo. he has bought another house recently which he will probably sell off a few years later. I think it is a business venture for him. http://www.zillow.com/blog/pete-sampras-buys-estate-146669/

By the way - as already pointed out in this thread - Federers will live in the 2nd and top floor of the house (all in all about 500m2), the lower two appartements are sold to someone else.

so if anyone is interested and weathly enough...the whole house is estimated at 10mio (CHF), the two lower appartments about 2mio each.

LOL!! So this ugly thing is not even his whole house? Federer with all his money gets to share to house with someone else? Dear lord, someone needs to teach Fed about owning a proper house!

Some TW fedfan should move in and send back reports.

The wealthy never stay in one place for long so he has been quite prudent in designing some of it for sale.

You are not only Nadal- but also culturally biased - and not in a good way to be honest.

Beautiful home. If I had his money I'd build myself a dream home too. Nothing arrogant about that. He gives to charity as well so he si entitled to enjoy his money.

Not saying it was hard earned..............weak era, cupcake draws and all that. :) Only joking! :)
