upgrading my i radical intelligence.

Alright guys, i'm new to this forum.

I've had my i.radical intelligence racquets since high school tennis. I am now 26 and am starting to play tennis a lot more again. Man, have I missed out!

My racquets are pretty banged up, head guard has been skimmed down to the strings (due to my past habit of serving and hitting or rather skimming the ground). Scratches n dings all around the frames. This has been primarily the only racquets i've been playing with since high school. I would say this is my favorite racquet but I haven't tried any others. I'm definitely looking for similar racquets, and have tried to find some... but I have not found any and honestly don't know what to look for.

Do any of you guys have any good suggestions?

Thank you for the suggestion! I will check it out, the price is nice also! any others??? doesn't necessarily have to be head :)

Also I love love love to hit with top spin, if it goes long... MOAR topspin.... must hit it harderrrrrrr! lol. not sure if this makes any difference...

how about buying a used i.Radical?

I do love this racquet, but I think it's time for a newer racquet. I haven't tried any others and i'm looking for something a little different, similar but not the same. I just don't have much experience when it comes to racquets.

I want to explore! not too far though lol.

I have a full stroke, play with heavy topspin, not too head heavy; I know my shots will go long. I want a racquet that is suitable too long strokes, heavy topspin.

Something similar to my i.radical intelligence, but not quite? I'm not sure how to say it, my racquets are tore up, and I feel like venturing?

If I need to list more about my play style let me know! Keep brushing up!

Can you playtest racquets? Let's start with the qualities you want from a racquet that are not present with your i.Radicals.

You can't go wrong with the IG Radical MP as suggested by Fed Kennedy. I'd suggest you demo iterations of the Radical starting from the Liquidmetal to Microgel and so on...

You might want to try Dunlop's 300 line too, and the Yonex VCORE Tour 97 (310g).

Dunlop HM 300G or Mfil 300..
i have some for sale actually.

Great rackets for spin yet a bit more pop than the I.Radical MP.

Head Graphene Radical. Offers a bit more power at the expense of less feel & control. Babolat Pure Strike 18x20 or 16x19. The 18x20 is closer to your IRad. Lastly try the Prince Tour 100. Just tried this one myself and it impressed me with a good combo of control, feel & pop.
