Taylor Dent is the man you are missing.

Maybe Davenport declined? She has a lot of health issues.

Personally I don't really care that much about olympic tennis. I watched the last 2 and it was rather boring and got minimal coverage because they are so overshadowed by other events.

Grandslams and major tournaments get way more coverage and it's all about tennis.

i feel the same way, but i like the competition between countries. after all, you rarely get to be on a "team" in tennis.

Well except for that doubles thing...

Are there alternates in case of injuries? Thought Rubin was from Louisiana not the City of Lost Souls? Showtime has lost its luster.

I'd say thats a pretty good team.. But I think olympics should be left for Non-Pros. We already have a Davis cup and fed cup thing going on for the pros.

What's Davenport afraid of? There's no need to fear with "Spadea the Glad-e-a-tah" on the scene...

Yeah - I can't think of a better example of the Olympic spirit of humility than Spadea...

...man, what were they thinking?

It's nice to see Chanda Rubin getting some recognition for a change. She's always been a total class act. Probably has more class than any other man or woman on either tour.

Does Spadea think he's the next member of the Beastie Boys? B/T his rapper wannabe persona & his outfits, he'd be perfect on stage rapping w/them.
