It's getting late, even for the west coast, still hope Lopez can pull this off!

Wish Djoko and his fans would stop crying about his lack of love from the crowd. Dudes like a 9 slam champ or something like that. That not enough for you?

I'm no Djokovic fan, dude. Its just weird to see a not only dominant, but also extroverted and humorous champion be so devoid of crowd backing. I don't buy the story about racism against east Europeans either. Goran and Safin were intensely popular.

He has impressed me tremendously and I'm getting nervous. They might consider from now on scheduling everything an hour earlier, to be this late in the tournament and having matches go well past 1 a.m. is silly.

OK. Lopez has done his part. Now he has to turn the Servebot inside him on and take the TB. The good thing about USO for him is that he can force it to another TB in the 5th set. He is well in this match. Djokovic, in the meantime, looks tired. I wonder how he'll treat the TB now. He'll come out with renewed energy level in the 5th, for sure.

Win or lose, Lopez is playing some beautiful tennis and making Djokovic take it to another level if he wants to survive.

We have had some wonderful night sessions this year. This one is up there at or near the top.
Lately everyone is challenging novak, or not having an easy time.

If anyone is wondering how old man Lopez with seemingly no game has managed to reach so far, its because of wisdom that comes with age :) And his unique game.

Its been a good match to watch - best baseliner in the world vs a guy with slices, volleys and little power.

Also a crappy Djokovic doesn't hurt. ;)

Well I doubt any player ever is gonna get the ridiculous and obnoxiously over the top adulation that Federer gets, which is what Djokovic fans want. Crowds love an underdog as well (especially US crowd) and Djokovic hasn't been an underdog in the past 3-4 years. It's not like crowds despise him or anything.
