I never claimed not to be, you asked a question, I gave an answer. No need to be holier than thou when I already know we'll all be biased to our favorites. At least unlike a certain Ultron fan I can admit Djokovic is good as hell regardless. You couldn't pull a Rafa compliment out of him with a wrench.
Who? Any Djoker fan that can't respect Rafa's career is blind. Djoker would be blessed to equal Rafas achievements

Out of the seven players still alive in the QF (couting Tsonga, who's in France by now), the only ones who don't have the SLIGHTEST chance of beating Djoko in a BO5 are Lopez and Gasquet.

This makes this game very boring. This break up Lopez has now is irrelavant e we all know it.

Djokovic is trying to give the crowd something, which is appreciated, but it's not enough. Lopez ain't bringing it.

Give them what they paid for!

Too many ups and downs in Djokovic's game. Against Bautista Agut as well, he suddenly starts to produce the unforced errors with no particular reason.

Djoko has 2 rivals: Fed and Murray. (And he had Rafa before Rafa's game started to decline last year)

No doubt, Rafa is (probably) done. Fed isn't a slam rival and certain to be gone in a year and Murray is generally Djokers doormat. If Coric won a slam it wouldn't be a bad thing

If Djoko loses before final, Fed will win the whole thing. Maybe it's all scripted behind doors (same as Serena)

I think that Fed has a shot even with Novak in the final. He's been the most impressive compared to any of big guys and Djokovic isn't playing on the same level as he did at Wimbledon.

I actually think we're gonna start seeing signs of it post-AO next year, and it'll really kick in starting 2017.
Yah have to find signs of decline in 2015. I think he'll hold up til '17 as well but who knows.

More like : never at his best at USO...

Reminding me of the glory days :)

Just can't see Fed grinding out a 5 setter on a surface slower than Wimby. Any things possible tho

The old warhorse Lopez just did not give up when he lost the first set 1-6. Even if he gets 1 set, it is creditable.

Imagine Tomic in his position and Novak would be serving for the match now.

Doesn't it feel like he's doing that almost on purpose?

I mean, not on purpose. But he himself is bored of the piece of cake this match is for him.

I mean, he could totally up his level of game here anytime he wants.

Definitely feels like he's trying to throw the crowd a bone. He's kind of in a lose-lose situation at the moment.

That's what we thought ahead of the Wimbledon final. I'm never making Federer the favorite over Djokovic in a 5-set match again.
Djokovic played great at Wimbledon and his matches against Cilic and Federer were probably his best performances on grass. His level is not the same here at the USO. Plus, Fed beat him in Cincinnati two weeks ago on the very same surface.

cinci is much faster

I think Wawrinka has a good shot of winning the event. Neither Fed or the Djoker are playing as well as I expected, and Stan isn't playing that well either but seems to be building gradually like he likes to do. If he gets past Anderson which is dangerous for him, I expect him to be playing really well by the semis and too well for Federer to handle if he doesn't play better than he did vs Isner.

Cincinnati is faster, and that was best-of-3. Federer looked like the better player ahead of the final at this year's Wimbledon, too.

Lopez simply doesn't know what next to do after he hits the slice. When Federer uses slices against Djokovic, he expects a short or a non-offensive ball which he can attack with the forehand. Feliciano, on the other hand, is absolutely clueless.
Reading people making parallels between Fed and Lopez before the match was hilarious.
Anyway I just put the match, what happened in the second set?
