You think so? Nole's been a little spacey out there tonight probably due to the humidity.. Of course, it may have something to do with playing Lopez.
Well, let's say that Nadal doesn't have Lopez's serve.
A lot of the time I know people who just go because their company bought tickets, or their friend's had tickets and couldn't go. Also, the US Open is just entertainment to many people it's not really about the tennis, it's about the experience, and it's something to do. Some people are tennis fans but not to the extent most forum members are. I saw a guy all rafa'd out in gear and he asked me who the tall guy (Ivo Karlovic) serving was during a practice, even after I told him he didn't know who he was. Another fan didn't know who Berdych was either.
That's true. Tennis is not that popular in the US. It's much more popular in France. Actually, there are usually a lot of foreigners at USO.

No footwork in that point from Djokovic. He seems a little weary. Lucky he gets a long break after this match until SF(well, that is, if he wins here).

We've been saying that for quite a few years now though. I don't expect anyone to surpass Nole for another 2 years anyways. I don't know about next year.

These kids just don't have the drive or focus to get or maintain any type of domination. Its why grandad Fed is #2, Murray still staying near the top despite his level being suspect, and Nole's possible current decline.
Djoker seems like he's got even more drive and determination than 2011 (the first year things really clicked for him). Is this the current Fed, the best Fed of the last five years? I think we'll see that Murray's form is doing very well. I suspect their is truth to your complaints about kids. This has easily been the most competitive, high level tennis ever seen. (Even if you put Agassi and Sampras on a pedestal, you must admit the rivarly was poor with Pete dominating the big matches.) In comparison, right now the kids stink as you put it. No one is close to emerging who will crack the big 4 (maybe 3 given Nadal's form). Its great to have Stan knocking on the door, but he is 30.

I don't actually want Djokovic to lose this but if he does I can't deny I'll be pretty excited because this will become Federer's title to lose!

These guys just get so overexcited on points like that. A standard rally ball missed by Lopez on a BP.

Djokovic's feet seem so heavy right now. He'll get a second wind eventually, but it's not moving at all. Maybe he had to wake up at night to change his baby's nappy a couple of times or something. He is still winning important points with his skill. He holds. You just feel Lopez can do himself a big favor by mixing it up and moving Djokovic around the court. Right now, Djokovic won't be able to get himself into position with rather lousy footwork and will spray a lot of UEs if moved around. Of course, he will find second wind soon.
