Tomorrow is Griggs vs Murrtaugh followed by Aga vs Konjuh for the night session. I think Konjuh played a really good match against Aga earlier in the Summer.Who's playing tomorrow? And do you know when Ultron plays Tsonga?
did Nole raise a sweat or just managed to warm up?
a shame for Kyle could have been a little more patient but the Hackery was dishartening

Pat Cash accepting some cash under the table right now.
No.Can Tsonga take out Ultron? The robot like defence looked a lot better.
Tsonga needs to up his first serve, win points on his forehand and net approaches.
Cheers mate. Looking forward to Djokovic vs Tsonga and hoping it's a proper match. Boring watching the top player take out these mugs with ease.
Tsonga's match of his life was the AO semi vs Nadal, but otherwise agreed.Hope Tsonga plays the match of his life for once like he did to beat Federer a long time ago but even then will always suicide himself the next round
Very sharp. For the first time in months. Still susceptible to DFs though. I suspect the arm is not a 100% yet.I didn't watch it. I assume Djokovic is playing much better?
How can he save something that was already saved five years ago?Damm, those walkovers given Novak time to resuscitate. Tsonga must save tennis now.
How can he save something that was already saved five years ago?![]()
I didn't get to watch the match. How did Djokovic look in terms of:
a) match fitness? (potential rustiness from not playing enough tennis)
b) his injury?
Were any of these things an issue?
ThanksHe looked really sharp and intense last night early on. He had that "Iceman" look that I have been missing for the last few months. He smothered Kyle for the first two sets and didn't let him breathe or get comfortable. He was able to break him at will even though Kyle was serving around 70%. When he was up 2-0 in the 3rd, he lost his serve and had the trainer massage his right arm and elbow. He then lost his serve again and Kyle was up a break at 3-2. Djokovic then turned it back up and broke back. That was not good for him to lose his serve twice in a row like that nor the 7 double faults. I do think his serve was more of the norm last night as he regularly hit them at 119, 117, 118, which is more of the norm for him. He also was going big on the 2nd like he had been doing which may have caused the double faults because he hasn't been serving them in the 100 mph range since RG. Overall, he looked good but I hope the arm is not a major issue.
ThanksI also watched the highlights on youtube and it looks like it fits with your analysis
Yes, hopefully that arm is not an issue.
Hahahahha I love your Sig
Thanks @Hitman.![]()
You are one of the few that has the ideal insight into the heavyweight champion's game and mental state. The Ice Man is the perfect way to describe how he played the first few sets, spot on.
It stays until I make another quarter final.
I got through to the fourth round, then Konta lost and I was out... but I'm through to the quarter finals with Nishikori
I've put together a good campaign, ATP and WTA. What are the chances, eh?![]()
