After six long years we will finally have a new slam champions and finally one born in the 1990’s. And all it took was a global pandemic and the world number 1 Novak Djokovic to get defaulted.

The final will be between #5 Sascha Zverev and #2 Dominic Thiem.

Zverev fought from 2 sets to love in his SF to make his first ever slam final while Thiem breezed past #3 Medvedev in straight sets.

So who you got in the battle of the models?

The extent of Thiem's foot problem will be a factor. If it's something that's not serious, Thiem, 6-4 5-7 7-6 6-7 6-2 in just over 4 hours. If Thiem's foot hurts too much, it will be Zverev, 4-6 7-6 6-3 6-2. It should be a good match.

Zverev's semi was only 28 minutes longer than Thiem's. Thiems match was also much more physically demanding.
