even mcenroe has more USO titles than djokovic lol
McEnroe one of the all time greats and american has more USOpen than Djokovic and how is that a lol worthy thing. Djokovic has more than double Wimbledons of McEnroe when McEnroe is the most likely best vollier of all time. That's lol worthy.

its lol worthy becuz djokovic has 23 slams and is supposed to be the greatest of all time lol

You and many Djokovic fans have lost any confidence in Djokovic and it's really disappointing.
Not lost confidence just saying how we see things currently. I still expect Djokovic to do well but Alcaraz deserves the favourite tag after winning it last year, just beat Djokovic at Wimbledon, Djokovic isn’t as dominant at us open and Alcaraz is world no1.

Djoko can never be written off but I make him a 2nd favourite and close with meddy with Carlos slightly ahead as top favourite.

I don't think it's bc of wimbledon loss that Djoko isn't the favorite...I have believed that since before Wimbledon 2023 started. Seems like the field is way more wide open and it's just that he's so amazing on grass that he was a clear favorite. I don't think he will be a favorite at either RG or USO again. Sure, he's in the mix always but I don' think he's a lock or not vulnerable at USO

Great because he was not the favorite at rg and won it. Let him be second favorite at USOpen and win it. No harm done. The guy is 20-1 in slams this year.

Carlos is now the favorite, as he should be. Djokovic is a close second

Alcaraz 6/4 (bet 4, win 6)
Djoko 8/5
Medved 6/1
Sinner 12/1

I'll go against the grain and say either Medvedev or Sinner wins. I think we are gonna see some upsets. Nole wins AO. Then Tiny starts his "mug run" at RG
I agree. I don’t think Carlos will defend his title and Novak is bothered by wind. I think the Italian takes out Djokovic in the semis or so and Alcaraz and Sinner play in the finals and sinner will prevail in straight sets

US open may be Sinner's best slam going forward. Its where he has looked the best form wise to me at least. That may be his home turf

Would like to see the draw before I place bets

I just want to tell everyone that getting Alcaraz at 4.5 odds for the USO before the season started is basically the biggest steal you’ll see in tennis for the next decade. Even if he doesn’t win this USO, getting him at those odds means I will profit handsomely. And you will never get odds like this again…

I don’t think he will win the tournament. I also don’t think Djokovic will win it either. My best guess is Medvedev or Sinner

Ok who played better sinner or Hurkacz. Sinner or Rublev?
Sinner had a lot breaks and won more points off Novak’s serve compared to the other two. It’s a shame he didn’t hold his nerve better. Should’ve gone 5 sets. Even though he lost in three, he played better than both

If he does it, he'd be the first to do it since Rog in 2008. That'd be a big achievement.
2009 was one weird match, to me. Federer looked uneasy even while leading, displayed some tactical stupidity mid-match (?), then the other guy was just rolling his serves in in the fifth; apparently out of mercy. I would love to hear other interpretations, not having watched the match in full since seeing it live.
