Tough match to choose who to support. I'm not the biggest Tiafoe fan so would rather see Fritz win, but on the other hand a Fritz-Sinner final could be a bit of a snooze fest but a Tiafoe-Sinner one might be more interesting

Yes. This has been the case for years. This is the progression of USO final weekend shrinkflation though in addition to shrinking the product they also raised prices significantly:

1. One ticket = 2 men’s semis + women’s final added filler between matches ( 22 years)

2. One ticket = 2 men’s semis; a separate ticket for the women’s final

3. One ticket = one men’s day semi; a separate ticket for night men’s semi; a separate ticket for women’s final

I forgot when they screwed fans by separating the men’s into two sessions. Maybe 2019-ish but I’d have to give it more thought to be sure. They sold it as a good thing. My fav Raul is not so easily duped.

Neither likely, but Tiafoe has both a lower floor and an higher ceiling of what he could pull than Fritz.
