Taylor Townsend made the semi w Shelton in 23 and the final last year w Donald young. I watched Shelton spray returns 2 years ago, while she kept them in return games w her steady play.

She can carry him to a title this year. They're going to be the team to beat this year, as his game has improved, and she is now the #1 female dubs player for good reason.

Shelton/Townsend have as good a shot as anyone. Especially if Ben's cannonball serve is on.
Please remember that with the new rules a set can be completed in 4 games! 5 minute sets!

Didn't Ben beat Vavasoori in doubles at Monte Carlo ? I think the guy was upset about a body shot and withdrew from the next tournament in protest.

It was characterized as a fitness issue not weight per se. She won USO junior girls doubles that year and made a deep run in singles.

It would be cool if your new fav reimagined USO mixed doubles event had matches completed in 10 minutes! Don’t bore us. On and off!

I don't get how PMac had so much power at that time. To keep the #1 ranked jr in the world (who was an American) out of the USO was idiotic decision made by one individual.

Meanwhile, Taylor is in the final w Zhang in Montreal, since siniakova is not here, yet.

I wouldn’t count on it.

I think this nonsense is just an excuse to charge some of the fans on-site during an otherwise free “Fan Week.” TV coverage is an afterthought.
