USO is Djokovic's most consistant slam. Since 2007, it took the GOAT, Nadal on juice and the wind for him to lose here. You know what I'm saying?

I do. He feels very confident here. His interviews before and during the tournament shows it.

Get your stats right.

2007 - lost to Federer in 3 tough sets (had set points in the first 2)
2008 - lost to Federer in 4
2009 - lost to Federer in 3 close sets
2010 - lost to Nadal in 4 sets
2011 - beat Federer and Nadal
2012 - lost to Murray in 5

He's the only player who's made the US Open semi of the last 6 editions and he doesn't look like losing to Youzhny right now so make that 7.

Also the active player who's made the most USO finals after Fed: 4 (3 consecutive since 2010, he's gunning for his 4th consecutive in 2013)

All-rounder is just a hater disguised as Murray fan who takes gratification in losses of Novak and Nadal. Even more pathetic life than Clarky.

Ah ok. I get very confused sometimes with whats going on with all the fighting. LOL.
Youzny is no slouch, far better competition than last nights match!

Youzhny is too good of a player to not at least break a B- Djoker once. Novak needs to pick up his game and ratchet it more tightly.

Impressed Youzhny is still going well here and not just capitulated, still playing well, problem for him is that it's Djokovic on the other side of the net and even playing well isn't always good enough.

So glad to see youz play as he was in the previous matches. He's got this far because he's really playing well and that wasn't shown at all in the two first sets but we're still only seeing half of his greatness in this third set. Great stuff.

Im surprised Nole's level dropped that much. Thought for sure he would step on Youzhny's throat and go for the kill. Now hes stuck out there for longer.

The way Youzhny is hitting has nothing to do with Djokovic's level. I'm not talking about the scoreboard here.

I'm right in thinking Novak is still yet to drop a set aren't I? I remember Becker serving for a set against him but I'm 99% sure Novak took the set, right?

Where were you in the Murray - Stan match there was barely any talk of the match until Murray lost followed by the typical 'He's a pusher' 'He was lucky to win 2 majors' etc.

All noise to me. Murray is still a great player and I say he will win the AO sooner than later.

So has the heat between the NY crowd and Novak gone away yet? It's been a few years, but they really seem to want an excuse to cheer against him. Maybe they just want a decent match.

I don't think they have a problem with Djokovic, I think it's just a case of Youzhny getting them on his side with his performance this set so far.

Underdog is always supported unless you are Roger Federer.( Lately, Though he has become an underdog too) :)

Youzhny coming a bit unglued in this game. Can he save the break point? No he can't. What a rally though. 4-3 Youzhny now, Djokovic to serve to tie the set.
