what will Fed be learning from this???
Your superiority complex is in fine form, just like when you supported Isners response to Monfils, which was proven by Isners camp getting a special visit by the ump!
Not that this means anything but Nole's lost about 20 games through the fourth round. Rafa has lost about 40 games through the fourth round (including a set).

What is happening to the quality of the quarterfinals lately? Both women's and men's matches so far have been lackluster, maybe with the exception of the gasquet's match. Tomorrow matchups look more promising. I hope they do deliver.
and that hat doesn't suit the woman in your avatar![]()
Rafa is under pressure now, for sure, he's behind in this set, no?
Now we can see why fed tanked the other night.
Nice. Nole is yet to meet a in form player. Youzhny would be his first decent challenge. But yes he's been playing extremely well.
Maybe for Nadal, yes but not for Novak. On paper, Nova's draw was hell with the possibility playing Dimitrov, Delpo etc... but yes, with the way it's turned out, cake draw is cake until the semis of course.
Robredo Must Retire.

I try to be the best member I can be here, but I also don't candy coat the ridiculousness of what some people post here. Nothing to do with a superiority complex. If you can't handle that, too bad.
I know. It doesn't fit.
P.S.
I was just kidding about that.![]()
And? Youzhni will take a set? Lol Kohli would've straight setted everyone in Novak's quarter.
Say what you want about Robredo, but the 31 year old has made 2 Slam quarterfinals this year. It's been a fine year for him.
None of it really means anything anyway. There are only three guys right now who serve as a litmus test for each other. The rest is just noise (bagels and breadsticks).
As much as the announcers act like they are excited by the dominance of all of the so-called GOATS, I promise you that the TV boys are pretty glum right now. Guess what? The TV boys write a lot of the checks. No wonder tennis ratings have gone in the dump over the past decade.

I am not spamming. It was appropriate for the circumstances. If you are hurt, there is an ignore option. You can use it just like I am using it for you.

I wonder if tennis fans will continue to pay big bucks to watch these matches in the future if the quality continues to decline like this. I know I sure wouldnt.
Nadal's lobs are underrated.
I think most fans generally subscribe to the theory that this is the greatest era in men's tennis and so they put up with the routine slaughters in the early rounds by the likes of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic (nowadays, just Nadal and Djokovic. At least Murray seems to be relatively challenged in the earlier rounds of the Slams). At least I look at it that way. Instead of lamenting the sub-par quality of the rest of the men's field, I respect and give credit to the top of the men's field for dominating the game like they do and I figure when they retire the tour will shift back to a more level playing field.
Rafa in 3: 0/2//2
I am not talking about the early rounds because I don't expect them to be brilliant. But I do expect the quality to be better in the quarterfinals and beyond. Anyway, there's not much you can do about it because it's just what it is. I do understand what you are saying.

As well as Gasquet played today, I can't really see him doing any better than Robredo unless he somehow finds a way to dictate with the backhand. It's not like Robredo wasn't playing great tennis coming into this match.
