As always, this is the tournament that gets the summer hard court season and the US Open series started. My favourite time of the tennis schedule! Let's go!

I'm really intrigued to see if Pospisil can build on his Wimbledon run and take a real shot at his first title here. If he can bring that kind of form, I really think he can. It's a really beatable field. It'll also be cool to see if he and Sock can defend a doubles title for the first time together, although they have the Bryan's to contend with on the other side of the draw.

I'd like to see it too, but he had that wrist problem only a couple of weeks ago so I'm not getting my hopes up that much, for this tournament anyways.

i checked the draw, and did you see who is Stepanek opponent ?
this player: Christopher Eubanks http://www.tennisexplorer.com/player/eubanks-b3a89/?annual=2015
19 years old and totally inexperienced, curious to see that. Can't see how he could win over 5 games.

Oh by the way didn't see Lu in the draw, rooting for him and Muller

This Roddick/Tiafoe exho is a full fledged match. First set went to Andy and he's up an early break 3-2 in the second. Tiafoe needs to save a bit for tomorrow vs Groth, when it's a real match but he can't break ARod (5/5 BPs lost).

Pospisil struggled through the heat, barely making it through to the quarters. Mannarino is out.

Muller is looking good, no? He has won a couple of decisive sets.

Sucks to hear that Pospisil barely made his way through his match against Lu. Hopefully he looks a bit stronger going forward. As I said before, I'd like to think he has a decent shot at this title.

For anyone who watched, did he at least play the same attacking, serve and volley game he did at Wimbledon? He needs to play that way consistently to be successful.

Kudla upsets Sock in a rematch of the USO Boys final in '10 to make the QFs and a very winnable path to the SFs vs Sela. '15 is turning into a great year for him!

Unfortunately I didn't see the match.

Perhaps it is fortunate. Last year I said I was giving up my addiction to Pospisil, as every time I got excited about his play....he dashed my hopes against the rocks. I swore off (kinda, but not really) being a fan, but then, he lured me back in with his Wimbledon play this year. I knew, yes I knew, that I shouldn't be lured back in but who could blame me? He is a likable guy. He's a cutie. (Reminds me of my son.) When he's on, his game is sooo enjoyable to watch. Really, who could blame me??

Puhleeaaase Vasek, keep it together for this tourney.

Does anyone have any opinion as to how his style of play matches up against Baghdatis? (Not saying I'm getting my hopes up, but....well....maybe?)

Berankis going toe to toe in this serving match with Isner. Close TB to Isner.

Can you imagine if Berankis had just a couple more inches of growth earlier how big his serve could have been?!

Muller looking good...I like him for making the final and possibly winning it all.

He will be a seriously dangerous floater in Flushing.

Would they ever consider moving this tournament from Atlantic Station? Surely there is a better tennis venue in Atlanta. Do the announcers really have to be filmed with the background of an interstate exit ramp? They were even commenting on traffic noise on air. You could tell they were just not respecting this tournament. And not without reason, given the site/environment. Who runs that thing? An Atlanta based ATP event should be a stellar event given the tennis interest in the community. Is there not a better site in Atlanta? Surely there is a high end nice club to hold the event. You could quick-build stadium seating at a nice club as easily as Atlantic Station. At least there wouldn't be an interstate in the background. Geez.

Big John finally reaches double digits in titles with a straight sets win over Marcos Baghdatis 6-3,6-3. No tie-breaks needed.

Marcos could not play today but doubt his legs would've helped much. Congrats on his week and great job John on his 10th title and the threepeat. Sadly looks like he'll be gassed come USO again

Congrats to Isner, blnt Baghdatis, Isner can now feed the dolphins a few treats, lol

"He's just the eighth active player to achieve a three-peat on the ATP World Tour and joins Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer, Milos Raonic, Kei Nishikori and Lleyton Hewitt, who have 23 three-peats between them."

Cheers
3Fees :)

Congrats to Big John. The match was quite boring. Isner just had to hold serve, and Baghdatis was hobbled.

Congrats to Isner, big hugs to VLBJ. :)
... will have to wait a bit more for another title !
seems isner had some nice words for marcos after the match, at least. ;)
"I didn't want to win like that. I hope you're back healthy and back on tour in just a little bit. You're a class act and I enjoyed playing you today."
