Kim Clijsters takes her comeback to the Grand Slam stage this month.
The 2005 US Open champion will play her first major tournament since she reached the semifinals of the 2007 Australian Open in New York this month as Clijsters leads the list of women's wild cards into the US Open.
The USTA announced today that Gail Brodksy (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Mallory Cecil (Spartanburg, S.C.), Alexa Glatch (Newport Beach, Calif.), Vania King (Long Beach, Calif.), Christina McHale (Englewood Cliffs, N.J.), Kristina Mladenovic (France) and Olivia Rogowska (Australia) will join former champ Clijsters as main draw wild cards at the 2009 US Open Tennis Championships.
