Used TW Rackets: A Good Deal?

What's your experience purchasing used or demo rackets from TW?

I'm not so picky that I need a new frame, or the latest and greatest.

My assumption is that once I know what the specs are, I'm confident that if TW sells it, it's going to be pretty good.

But, are they selling rackets that are generally in great shape, or are some of these rackets banged up, due to extensive use?

I've demo'ed some and the rackets are always in at least good shape, so if that's an indicator of what I'll get with used, then I'm good.

I bought a used Microgel Prestige MP on TW for 79, almost like new!

I bought a used Babolat Pure Storm Ltd from them and it was in good condition. I'm not sure what it was strung with, but the racquet itself was a good buy.

Hit or miss, guys. I have gotten some in excellent condition, and others that are trash. I have kept the good ones and sent the trash back for refund. TW will still take returns, even on the used and demo racquets if you aren't satisfied with what you get!

Used TW racquets are a great deal. Heck, some of them are still new!

I bought 2 k90's that were used and they came to be in pretty bad condition but playable. But the price was pretty reasonable. Again it is hit or miss. but with racquets that are popular: k90, blx90, aero pro drives, and pure drives, they will be more used and abused.

Used TW racquets are a great deal. Heck, some of them are still new!

I've bought a couple over the years and they were in great condition. Good values.

I bought an Adidas Barricade Tour Light demo, the frame is in perfect condition w/o any damage, but the bumper was a different story though...

I haven't bought a used/demo racquet from TW so can't comment on that. I have found a couple of back up racquets on the "For Sale or Trade" forum that were in great shape. You can ask for pictures to check condition. Just make sure you check the references thread before completing transaction.

I had a very good experience with TW used racquets. The racquet arrived in the condition stated, and was well protected in bubble wrap. I got a detailed description of the racquet's condition upon request and a fair price.

If I have one regret, I wish I had bought 2 instead of 1. Great job, TW.
