It would be a good match but I would say Nadal most likely.
Nadal was losing to a lot of guys in 2009 that he's beating this year, including Soderling (who he has been trouncing, and beat on hard courts). Nadal had a 3cm tear in his abs last year in the semi. He had DP beat at Miami and completely fell apart.
Federer kinda gave away that final too. DP played poorly for the first set and a half, but Federer was two points away from going up 2-0 in sets on serve. DP won just as much as Federer kinda crumbled last year. We will see what he does when he returns.
I like delpo quite a bit. I think with the new nadal serve it will be 60/40 in favor of delpo on the Us open courts. Nadal is now obviously recognized as the best mind on the tour. Imo delpo is next, so it would be quite a match.I hope delpo makes it back to normal so we can see some good matches between these two guys on the hard courts and maybe even clay.

Yes so he had a 3 CM tear in his abs and made it to the semi-final of a slam. Totally believable. Now I'm not saying the tear couldn't have occurred during the semi, but if it occurred at any time before that semi, I find it hard to believe that considering Sampras suffered from a similar injury and got bageled by Agassi in the 5th.
Uhhh, there's more than one surface.
All you idiots honestly think DelPo would beat Nadal on grass and clay?
I lol at you.
The question is about USO...which is played on hard. Learn to read *******89!
Nadal in 3 or 4 sets. People are overrated Del Potro, probably because he's been out all year, you tend to become a better player the longer you are injured (see Nalbandian). Nadal beat djoker in 4 sets who is a worst match-up for him and is a better player than Del Potro.
Who would win?
Be nice if possible?

It was 20-5 in favor of Del Potro but now it's 37-21.
Del Potro will be back soon, I think in Bankok, so Nadal has a chance for revenge. Nadal leads the H2H 4-3 losing the last 3.
