*shrugs* i guess. i just poor anderson is already getting crapped on, i'm sure he knows he's not the one most people think is slam final worthy.

No one is crapping on Anderson, he is doing a pretty good job of it himself by struggling to hold services games, having more double faults in this final than the whole tournament leading in, horrible misses at the net. Nadal is showing good restraint, and allowing Anderson to beat himself.

oh come on.. can you count the numbers of posts here trashing this possible GS of Nadal ? I can indulge in some banter with them..no?

all i know is the same people upset about that someone dare to say nadal's draw was easy are the same people who scream weak era at the top of their lungs, so no not really to me its hypocrisy either way you slice it.

In a way Nadal crushing Anderson here would be ideal, let Anderson know that he doesn't belong on the court with him, and that the only reason he is there, is because no one else was on his side of the draw. A humbling experience.

He got further than Federer

Bless. You're new to watching tennis, aren't you? That's the kind of thing my seven year old says.
No, you're new to tennis with your constant garbage posting about 04-07 era. You obviously didn't watch tennis back then.

What would Rafa do against an underarm serve? Scramble forward and play a weak return, then Anderson is in control of the point.

By playing a normal serve, he's letting Rafa moonball it back to the baseline and neutralise the point.

Oh dear.

Anderson playing the best tennis of his life, probably set to improve even more by 2018. Next year's AO will decide the True Greatest as everyone will be at their peak, including those returning from injury.

No clay is not sorry I go by the ITF which has determined clay to be an 80s European **** invention

Stick with what you know. Supporting dopers

What? That article mentions that until the '80s, almost all tennis courts in Spain and Italy are clay...not that clay courts were invented in the '80s.

Who are you referring to? Nadal is my least favourite of the top 4. Always has been. Always will be.

Winning slam head to head against main rivals. Fed been beaten once too many times by Djoko and Nadal... he's not GOAT.
Yup. Rafa 10-6 against fred and Djoker. Fed. 4-9 against Rafa and Djoker. Djoker 6-5 against those Fed and Rafa.

If (when) Nadal wins this title, what is the chance of him getting a fall hardcourt title this year?
