Nick in 4 with some 3rd set complaining. This is going to be good. Nick in 4 is my pick. Hard to see Rublev stopping Kyrgios if he's on fire.

Kygrios in straights.
If Novak were to lose, Kygrios is my pick to win the UsOpen.
...If Novak were to lose, Kygrios is my pick to win the UsOpen.
I don't see him beating Federer or Nadal. He has a tendency to quit when things get tough, or completely lose his mind over something as ridiculous as the serve clock.
And Federer will write on twitter " Kygrios, please win"...Imagine the bad blood between Novak and Kygrios. I mean, really that could be the best UsOpen final: Djokovic vs Kygrios.
I always know what I get when I eat chocolate. It says on the pack what it is.Though Nick has a tendency to quit when the going gets tough, so I don't know. Kyrgios is definitely a box of chocolates, because you never know what you will get.
I will do my part to support KING KYRGIOS
and will be seeing this match IN PERSON
@TennisFan3 You're being legit here? 'Cause if so, the party's already starting, bro. Drinks on me.Kygrios in straights.

Hi, could you plz post what DAY & TIME is the Kyrgios Versus Rublev match?? THANKS!!
Wait a sec... who's NOT a Kyrgios fan?Wow. Nice. Who knew you were a Kygrios fan as well.
Excellent post. Well done Sir.Wait a sec... who's NOT a Kyrgios fan?
Fed all the way. I have only rooted against Roger three times, and all before 2005, always when he played Andre. Love my boy Nick, but it's not Fed level love at all. What would you do if it's Roger vs Kygrios?

Battle of the Young Guns with both entering the USO with decent form. Kyrgios winning Washington and Rublev making the Quarters at Cincinnati and upsetting Tsitsipas in the 1st round.
Rublev [is] usually too busy waging emotional warfare on himself to pay too much attention to what the opponent is doing.
Yeah I think the matchup is horrendous. Rublev has a much better forehand but he'll hardly get any chances to use it. His very aggro 1st return game doesn't really work against a great serve like Kyrgios, and while I think Rublev will take care of his 1st serve perfectly fine it's his 2nd serve that's the big problem.I do fear it's a bad match-up for Rublev, though. I watched their single previous match, and Kyrgios eked out a win despite playing a clown match. Rublev thrives on a certain level of rhythm, and Kyrgios doesn't give it to him.
That said, never know when Nick will fold or throw up a stinker if he faces some adversity. And I don't think Rublev will be too distracted by Nick's shtick either. He's usually too busy waging emotional warfare on himself to pay too much attention to what the opponent is doing.
In any case, should be a good one. I'm predicting Rublev W by fifth set disqualification

And Murray is usually too busy antagonising himself to deal with Kyrgios' antics.pretty much my thoughts.
I think Rublev will get less out of his big cuts on both first and second serve return in this match-up.
If Nick starts throwing junk or draws Rublev into the forecourt, I don't think Rublev's the best at handling that either. Nick (somehow) hit the nail on the head when he explained why Murray owns him: none of that junk or shock tactics remotely fazes Murray. He has the improvisational skills to answer all of it. Rublev doesn't.

Kyrgiosity Gump!Though Nick has a tendency to quit when the going gets tough, so I don't know. Kyrgios is definitely a box of chocolates, because you never know what you will get.

OK Thanks but No One answered the Question! Federer says he's a fan, and many other players, so I digress, who's NOT a fan of Kyrgios?Excellent post. Well done Sir.
Understatement of the 21st century. If Kyrgios is on he should win handily but with Nick you never know.
Hopefully Kyrgios wins this quickly. Rublev is a boring ball basher.
