I think you're discounting Rafa. I watched Nadal in 2004 and he rarely, rarely dropped serve when serving for a match. Rublev choked to love when serving against Tsits last week. Rublev is not the talent Nadal was, no way.
Of course he isn't but no one is. He is one of the best next genners though

I don't even understand this NYC crowd. Now they're booing what? Rublev for complaining about the light or the man who did it?

If you'd been to NY you'd know. Different culture than anywhere else in the world aside from New Jersey.

It's not even the culture specifically. It's just the diversity. It is such a melting pot for people from all over the world. If there was one place that could be called the capital of the world, that would be it.
I've lived in NYC for several years and don't really subscribe to the notion of NYers being rude. The crowd in the UsOpen is not a fair representation of the NY people.
Of course, there is a lot going on and people would be in a hurry. But over there, I've met and made friends with some of the nicest people I've ever met.

But they are a fair representation of NY sports fans.

This match is done. Kyrgios is purely a front runner. There's no coming back when he's down a set. He'll start weird chit now.

Don't mind rublev winning. He has some mongrel in him and could be a head kicker if he gets it together.

Nick can hit some big shots on both sides but if you move him in intense aggressive rallies, he will more often than not not be able to sustain. That's the difference between him and the big boys of this game who have won Slams. They would have broken that last game and not be as dependent on serve alone since they can return serve.
