UTR beta test live

I have no affiliation with UTR but am excited for a singluar rating where all tennis players are on one board and can participate without paying anything. Obviously, I'm a mark and once they reach critical mass I'm sure I'll pay the monthly fee. Anyway thought people might be interested that their mobile app is in beta now. I just got this email.

USTA is too much about sandbagging. I like that the ratings for UTR update daily and are more granular. If you see the UTR vs NTRP you will see the players span 5-6UTRs in one NTRP rating. UTR seems more about improving than gaming system within a large range.

Thank you for being part of the UTR Beta Testing Group! We are preparing to release the new UTR iOS mobile app, and as an active member of the UTR community, we are excited for you to try our new app and provide feedback to improve it before we release to the public.

The new UTR iOS app makes it easy to search for players, events, clubs and schools, create dynamic player profiles with photos and videos, easily register for events, post scores and even message with other players and organizers through UTR. The app does not offer the ability for organizers to create clubs, events, draws, or similar features from the UTR TMS.

Here are guidelines for testing the app:

  • This is a native iOS app so you must have an iPhone. We will be releasing an Android later this year.
  • Use this link to download the beta app via TestFlight: https://XXXXXXX You must have the “TestFlight” app downloaded on your phone (if you don’t, you can get it from the App Store) and you must open this link on your iPhone.
  • The app is in early beta and we are working hard each day to improve the user interface/experience. Based on your feedback, we will be releasing updates every few days with improvements.
  • If you have any issues accessing the app, please respond to this email so we can troubleshoot it right away. Once you are able to access the app and log into your account, please document your feedback in a Google, Word or PDF doc including screenshots. Use this form to provide feedback on your app experience: https://forms.gle/XXXXXX Please send testing documentation to this email address. We request you provide feedback by Thursday, June 20th.

Thanks for your participation and support. We look forward to your feedback!
