V-Sense 10 TOUR availability?

I found this new racquet in Volkl website.
I like its spec, 19 mm thickness, 11.5 strung weight, 7 pt HL...
Do you know when it is available in US?

Volkl just introduced V-Sense 10 Mid on its website as well.
I see Volkl is continuing to call a 96 sq. inch headsize racquet a Mid. o_O The horror...

Even more so look at the beam 21-23-21mm and the bizarre mold - I mean the sling shot yoke (reminds me of some old Wilson racquets).
The entire mold reminds me somewhat of the Xenecore Donnay Pro 102.

There is also a new V Sense 7 on Volkl's website. The 10 Tour is an interesting one for me with both 295 and 325g versions of the 10 already released, is this kind of a reboot for the 10 series range? I don't think the 295 version has been all that popular. The 325 sought of came in a bit light, so maybe they are trying to beef up the 10 range.

The beam of V-Sense 10 Mid has 21-23-21mm thickness so I guess the stiffness is higher than PB or Orx 10 Mid's.

It's a weird looking mold.

As much as i love my Super G 10 midplus' the new mid gives me no "want it" vibe. At all. It may play fantastic but looks is horrible. And the New matte should have just that little more matte powder in the topcoat.

That stiffness (66RA) is a bummer but I guess the spec combination suggest that it is supposed to be a ready to play frame, not a lighter platform. Higher swingweight with medium stiffness to ensure stability which a 19mm beam at 310g weight won't provide.
Yeah I'm loving all the specs except the stiffness. I was surprised at the SW to be honest.

Forgot the other thing I don't care for about Volkl is no trap door. 4pts HL is not enough for me.

the vsense pro looks NEARLY perfect to me. thin beam, sufficient SW, not TOO heavy, 16x19. daddy likes

the mid looks like a turd. i dont know how they even conceived something that fugly.

Theres smart Chambers if you take off the butt to put some lead or silicone in. But you have to attach coins or some other stuff to the butt of the racquet to try out your perfect weight before you mod.

Yeah, I use attiva pallets, so modification is doable once the pallets are off, but it's not a process you'd want to go through twice.

. . . just occurred to me that the grommets on the V1 Pros might be doing some extra dampening. The 10 series from the organix until now have typically felt stiff to me -- even at a lower RA than 66. Not as hopeful now, to be honest . . .

Only buttcap needs to be off when adding weight. Three chambers.
I know. I guess I was just thinking of the only time that I have the butt cap off, which is when I replace pallets, so I overstated the point. But everyone should have the pleasure of stripping a handle down to the hairpin at least once.

Hahaha! Agree! Changed pallets on one of my SG10-295 when I bought it from 2 to 3. Even though people think I'm very handy it's a delicate job. And yes. Doing it yourself is very gratifying.

But I agree that Volkl should have a trap door anyway. If done properly the door could contain the pin. Even if it would mean small screws.

The Tour has the same collar design as the old DNX models right above the handle.

I've done Volkls/Beckers in the past, and they used to use spray silicone or some other adhesive to secure the pallets. Not so with the V-Sense. At some point, they've gone to double sided tape, and they weren't coming off. Had to butcher both sets of pallets to get them off. But I agree about the trap door -- and would add a handle-shape change as a needed option.

They've had double-sided tape at least since the Organix line.

I've had no trouble removing them clean. Did you apply heat?
