V1 Anniv vs. V1 Classic

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew if the V1 Anniv edition and the V1 Classic were actually the same, my girlfriend will end up going with either the V1 Classic or the Catapult V1 MP and while watching on the bidding place there are often more standard V1 classics compared to listing with the Anniv edition. We have ruled the Quantum out so far as it just did not seem as stable on groundstrokes, although it served awesome.

Scott the specs are slightly different..as is the trend towards lighter and stiffer, the Anniv edition is slightly lighter and slightly stiffer than the Classic, but maybe the specs have changed over the years w. the Classic too (companies do that w.o notice)..i prob have the exact specs around here somewhere if impt to you and would be happy to post thm here if you like, even though you abandoned the T10's :)..she would def like the cosmetics better on the Anniv edition i think.

I am still using the T10's actually, will probably end up making the headguard mod that you did and then compare against the Gen 2 and settle on my favorite. The non anniv edition that I had pictures of has a glossy paint job so I am figuring it must have some glass mixed in it? It was a non anniv edition with the skulls and bones style graphics on the head like some of the C10's. Actually since you sold me on Volkl, she hit with mine and now she is sold on Volkl so she is switching from her ProKennex Type R to the V1.

I think (but haven't confirmed) that the Anniversary edition is more powerful than the classic. The anniverary edition may well be the same as the Quantum VI, though, and you claim not to like that racket. I'm hoping someone can compare the two. The specs are slightly different with the anniverary edition beging a bit stiffer.

We have a Quantum V1 Mp, Catapult V1 MP already here and the Anniv edition arriving tomorrow, so I will be able to compare the three to some degree while having each one of them here for a few days.
