Well, thank you so much, they look just great andw ill be my next !
Every time I try to build and order Vapors, I get the out of stock message. Are they ever going to let someone order Vapors again?
I tweeted to @NikeiD and they replied that they would be back in production "soon," which in addition to being a really (#)$&$& tweet feels somewhat disingenuous. My guess is that they won't do an iD product for tennis for some time, as there simply doesn't seem to be sales volume like you'd get with the Free Run or the KD line, etc. But that's just a somewhat educated guess. I've got like four pairs stored in my nike.com locker for the day they start up though.
Someone at Nike needs to realize more tennis players would do iD if they did it on their 'durable' line. In fact, if they brought back the CB4.3 as an iD that would easily bring in the volume they need, but oh well wishful thinking.
I got a pair through right before they started with the "out of stock" message. I got a email from Nike last week saying they're "in production" so I guess I got one of the last pairs? It seems the pro players aren't having any problems with ID so maybe they really are at their limit of production?
I got a tweet from Nike that Vapors are available to customize again. I was able to build and order a pair.
Vapor 9 Breds..
^Those are dope.
Thinking of ordering... Opinions?
BTW - I got the wide fit and it's so much better than the retail fit. I don't really have wide feet but I find the retail version to be a bit cramped.
I got some Breathe 2k11 ID's with white soles and it looks amazing but the sole is hard to keep clean unless you just plan on wearing them only on court and nowhere else. I know I'm not planning on getting any white soled shoes because I don't want to be worried walking anywhere between matches with my white soled shoes. They just aren't built for the long term
