Vapor Advantage width/shoe box

I recently noticed Nike has discontinued the Vapor Tour 9.5s and has replaced them with the Vapor X. I tried on the Vapor X's at my local club and they do not fit well with the custom orthotic that I have to wear for a leg length discrepancy.

Do the Vapor Advantage shoes have the same width/shoe box size as the Vapor Tour 9.5s?

Generally speaking yes. But they will not feel as good as the 9.5 and will likely have a little less support over all.

I would SERIOUSLY look into the Vapor Prestige. It looks like it will be somewhere in the middle of the Vapor 9.5 and the Advantage.

The Vapor Air Advantage was basically a Vapor 9, so I would imagine that the Vapor Prestige is basically a 9.5.

Incorrect. The Vapor 9 still had better glues and materials than the 9. They use better materials on the top line shoes and more of whatever cushioning system they have in place as well (smaller air units in the heel blah blah). Top shelf is ALWAYS better, but then that is up to you if you want a slightly worse product for a better price.

I would say 75% of people playing on clay (don't have to worry about durability) would be a-okay using Vapor Advantages/Prestige and be very happy with them either way. There was a guy on youtube trying to go pro (he was very good) who was using Vapor Advantages so I am sure they are fine shoes regardless.

I guess I should’ve been more specific: I was referring to the fit, which is what I thought the concern of the OP was, not materials.

Yes, at least Advantage a tad wider than Vapor 9.5.

For me they feel the same width, but Vapor has that uncomfortable plastic that push bunion at the sides of my little toe
