Vapor pro 3

I'm only excited for one thing that they changed, even though it seems they only changed 2 things, and that's that an extra eyelid on the shoe is added.

If they change the rubber on the shoe to lighter rubber That would be my only hope lol. I'm surprised Nike got to the eyelid complaint faster than the bottom heaviness.

sooms like there is an extra eyelid which is better. PLEASE I hope the uppers are just so much lighter and breathable because that might redeem that fact that they changed NOTHING with the bottom heaviness.

Yea kinda early but I noticed that the vapor pro 1 was released in vary late 2021 or early 2022, and exactly one year later vapor pro 2 on April 2023, so does this mean possible vapor pro 3 in April this year or sometime this year? I currently use vapor pro-2. Just starting the talk, wondering what would be next for the line.
is this better than the previous version ?

You are one of the very few who seems to be more interested in the Vapor Pro 3 than the Vapor 12. Everyone is talking about the Vapor 12.
Lol I'm a bit young. I grew up being interested in and playing in this shoe so interesting to see such a distinctly different shoe solidifying itself in this new way in its 3rd iteration. vapor 12 and on will prob always be the shoe to try new things.

Sinner will be endorsing the Vapor Pro, mark it down.
I doubt it TBH. Especially it seems more likely than not that Tiafoe has left Nike, they need someone from the ATP side to endorse the GPT/GPC line or their successors. Sinner seems to be their best option for that. And there are way too many pros wearing the VP line already.

They moved the swoosh to an identical position as the swoosh on the Air Zoom Zero Sinner wears, astute observers think this is so they can at least make it look like the shoe he is endorsing.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Sinner will still wear the Zoom Zeros but with some adaptations and custom paint job to look like the VP Pro 3, just like they did with Alcaraz at the AO. I think it's way more likely to see Alcaraz switching to the VP 12, once Rune and Korda, that are part of those who had never abandoned the VP Pro 1, made the move

Not anymore!

I know I criticized and mocked you at the start but it is almost September now so WHERE TF ARE OUR LEAKS? Shame!

All the VP1 fans are waiting to see if it went back to being a speed based shoe and all the VP2 fans are waiting to see if it will remain a stability based shoe?
It’s interesting how many people hate on the VP1 when it was one of the most popular shoes ever on the tour. Long after the rest of us could only get the VP2 many pros were still wearing them. Alcaraz is still using his hybrid which looks to me to be the same shoe with some cosmetic changes,

I’ve owned every version of this line and while the durability of the VP1 was a real problem it may have been the best tennis shoe Nike ever made in my opinion. It is very light with great stability and maneuverability. I wouldn’t wear it all day but on court it is a fantastic shoe and I for one would love to get my hands on more pairs.

is this really better than the previous version ? so many people hated the previous version that i was turned off to this line of shoes, which used to

OMG I was right!!!!!! They made the rubber lighter!!!!!!!!! lessss gooo this might actually be better!!!! and they changed the air zoom unit!
If the rubber is lighter, maybe the outsole is less durable? I really hope this new model would be a little bit wider than 2.

Rubber compound used changed, too. "HART" rubber - whatever that is.

I'm glad they changed the lacing system on the medial side. That was the main factor why I didn't keep. I wanted a shoe with Zoom Air in the forefoot...

I find it odd that there is no design element on the tongue, except for the Heritage and Oz Open colorway.

NDC is also selling the yellow ones as "Premium" for an additional $10... Any actual difference between the shoes?

edit: I'm guessing this is what you're paying extra for

This special design takes you Down Under, where the best of the best compete after an offseason of perfecting their craft. The more you wear this shoe, a different color will appear on the outsole.

The more I wear my shoes, the more a different colour appears on the uppers - I believe it’s ‘sweat/clay dust’.

Has anyone used the AC model on padel? Is it too slippery for artificial grass? In that case I need to buy the clay model.
