Vcore 100+

Has anybody hit with this? How does it play compared to the pure aero plus? How does it compare to the standard ezone 100? What are some good string setups? Full bed PTP?

I haven't played with the + version but the standard VC100 is better than the EZone 100 for me. I did not like PTP in it at all but it sings with Black Knight.
Was the vcore more powerful than the ezone? Was the spin comparable? Which had a higher launch angle? Thank you :)

I would actually rate them pretty similar in terms of power. However, the VCore definitely likes to spin the ball. That being said, the VCore produces a superior combination of depth and spin. I can hit with lots of spin with the EZone but not as much depth since the EZone appears to prefer more driven/linear shots.

Slightly higher launch angle on the VCore but easy to manipulate/manage with spin.

I owned both VCore100 and EZ100, and I echo ryushen21's comment. I prefer VC100 because of the spin potential. I don't hit flat shots much so I am quite bias towards VC. A VC100+ just arrived few days ago but haven't had a chance to try. I don't think VC is bad at flat shot to be honest. Returning first serve has no issue, and VC100 is more comfortable, slightly.

I should have mentioned that the VC100 can absolutely drive the ball but it drives with the spin where the EZ hits more of a pure flat shot.

Those deep driven shots with the VC made the decision to switch that much easier.

If I have trouble with maneuverability with this racquet, should I give the regular 100 a demo? Or will the feel be similar that I can swap and the only difference would be that lower swingweight and .5 inches shorter?

Thank you for responding, sorry to keep bothering. So if I have trouble toting the 100+ But I like the feel, I should just get the 100?
No worries. The + will of course have a higher swing weight. But the weight and feel of the frames should be very close. So if the + ends up being unwieldy, switching to the standard 100 should be pretty easy.

Thank you very much, I’m super excited to try it out. Happy hitting!
