Vcore 89 vs RDS001 Mid

If anyone has hit with both of these racquets, I am interested in how they compare in the following.

--Power
--Control
--Serve
--Groundstrokes (1HBH)
--Arm friendly
--Overall ease of use (sweetspot)

The RDS001 mid was, for me, one of the best frames ever....responsive, unbelievable control, huge sweetspot, very stable and well balanced.

The Tour89 doesn't feel as soft..likely due to the different grommet systems and the change from elastic ti. When I say soft, I mean both arm friendly and muted. I always felt in complete control with the RDS001 but my sense of the true center of the sweetspot was never there. The Tour89 is less muted while still being very arm friendly. I think the biggest improvements in play - for me - center around the serve and half-volleys/general net play. The Tour89 is a great serving frame and, likely because if feels quicker to me, is much better on shoe-top pickups and much more precise on firm volleys.

I will add that I never felt comfortable hitting a topspin OHBH with the RDS001 (was either a two handed drive or a one handed slice), but some combination of shorter throat/faster feel/better feedback makes me feel much more confident and see better results with the Tour89.

Have no problem saying that, IMHO, the Tour89 is a better overall frame than the RDX500/RDS001 predecessors...both of which I held in extremely high regard.

Is the T89 your frame of choice nowadays? (I think I need to test this T89 out!).

Any more feedback on these two racquets. I could get 3 used RDS001's for the price of one new 89T.

Is there much of a difference in performance between the two? The specs are very similar.
