Vcore Pro Grommets

I was looking for grommets for the 2018/2019 Yonex vcore pro 97 (the navy blue and the green ones). I assume that the ones for sale on the site are for the newest version. Do these still fit the older models?

Wow! I actually came here to ask about grommets for the 2021 models - but I guess that in the end it’s the same question: are the grommets that are on the site for the 2018/2019 models or for the newer purple-green-black 2021 model?

The grommets that are currently available on the site are for the 2018-19 VCORE PRO racquets. Those are currently on backorder. We also do have the 2021 VCORE PRO grommets on order and are hoping they will also arrive in November. We put the year 2021 in the name for the new grommets to help distinguish between the two when they become available. The grommets that have no date in the name are the 2018-19 grommet sets.

Thanks for the clarification, @TW Staff ! One further question: will you continue to stock the 2018-19 grommets after the 2021 ones come in, or will the earlier ones get phased out? Just wondering if I need to stock up at this point on the old model grommets.

We continue to carry grommets until they're discontinued by the manufacturer. I don't know then that will be unfortunately, but it couldn't hurt to get some extra just in case.

UPDATE: We ordered a while ago and are hoping for mid December but Yonex hasn't given us an exact date on when they expect them.

The current date in the system is March 17th. However, that date has not been confirmed from Yonex yet. I will see if there is any updated date I can give.

Bumping this thread: Do you sell the grommets for the 2019 Yonex VCore Pro 97 330 (Green frame and gold lettering)?

I see 2018, 2019 HD and the newest model grommets, but where is 2019 16x19? Is the bumper on the HD the same as the 16x19? I only really need the bumper, though obviously it would be nice to have the grommets.
