Vegas for New Years! Need Tennis :)

Hi everyone,

My girl and I will be in Vegas from 12/29/15 to 1/2/15 staying at the Luxor. We are both solid players and are looking for opponents (men or women) to hit with, play doubles, singles, whatever.

She's a 4.5 and I'm a 4.5/5.0 depending on who you ask. I'm also an ex-teaching pro and a current string distributor.

Most importantly, where are tennis courts?! We will have transportation and are actually interested in seeing what else Vegas has to offer outside of the Strip.

Does anyone want to set up some hitting sessions? I hear meetup may be the best way to squeeze into the tennis scene?

try UNLV courts..... not sure if they are open to the public . The rest of the facilities are a long drive from the strip, or private. (except a couple small parks)

Believe it or not, everyone in Vegas acts like 60 degrees is 30 degrees and there is very little outdoor tennis in the winter.

I hear meetup may be the best way to squeeze into the tennis scene?

Unfortunately, there is very little active participation in local meetups for 4.5+ players especially in winter.
