What is the length of the racket?? Venus always played with extended version of all rackets.

Well the nblade OS is spec'd at 106 head with a 27.3 inch length. I think Venus' is a little longer, judging by photos. Her grip looks longer. Venus has always used extended length racquets

Andy just because a stock commercial frame is all of X length, doesn't mean that to a tour player they cannot get it longer. Most frames when made, come out of the oven longer then even 28".

I know I know....that's what I was trying to say....Venus' grip definitely looks longer than the standard grip....I'm aware about customization (especially for touring pro's) that major racquet companies do for their players

Whatever the sisters have switched to, it has made world of difference: less unforced errors, and more pinpoint control! If it was indeed the N Blade 106, why wouldn't Wilson advertise this fact with a standard N Blade paintjob? Aren't the sisters still getting Wilson endorsement money? Why would they use an anonymous racket? Are you all quite sure it's an oversized?

yeah, pretty sure is is an oversize. It has an 18x19 pattern (like the nblade OS) and it appears to be larger than Sharapova's 03, which is 100 sq. inches.....assuming that Serena and Venus are using the same racquet. Venus is serving really well with her new one.....she hit a 125 mph ace in her first tournament back after months and was consistently serving at 119-122 on the first serve the entire match....also hit a few 2nd serve aces in her previous rounds and her 2nd serve speed has gone up too.....averaged 89-94 and a few at 98 and 102 against Peer in the final....I really want Venus to break the new serving record. She's capable....she fired a 135mph serve in Australia a couple years ago (too bad it was called out)

Yes it is out of the nBlade OS mold. Wilson is probably plotting and planning a new model. Be it from the K Series or the W line which both women were advertised as using.
....kind of related to the Venus-serving post above --- I just demoed the nBlade OS (strung with a GREAT Luxilon hybrid!) and hit some of THE b e s t serves I've hit in a while!! With an eastern backhand grip, I was kicking some great deuce-T serves...and hard outside angles in the ad court.....I'll probably GET one if for no OTHER reason than THAT!!!!

it reminds me of when serena and venus first switched to wilson and they were playing with blacked out frames.
