weird, serena talks as if theres really nothing wrong. i guess when your worth a zillion, you play when u feel like it. i was interested in seeing her play zvonareva.

serena thought she was gonna play sharapova in the finals, so she pulled out before she got far enough where it would be too obvious

well she doesnt play for glory , love of the game, or history and it shows. this is a quote from her own mouth -

she said this after they asked her why she was still going to play the canadian open next week. u cant blame her its her life but her attitude certainly isnt good for the sport of tennis or the fans that want to see her in my opinion. i mean connors played with a broken foot in the 85 us open got to the semifinals and downplayed the injury. serena on the other hand if she goes 3 sets with anyone she blames it on a broken nail or something

she also said this to the crowd on stadium court on why she couldnt play -

``I'll give you the dramatic version as I'm an actress,'' Serena said before launching into an account of how she ran at top speed (``probably 20 miles an hour'') and lunged for the drop shot.
