Verdasco new head racquet

It seems verdasco is hitting with a new racquet during his off season training in quatar.
It definitely looks like the new xt prestige, which surprises me because verdasco has never used cap grommets before, maybe he's using the new xt prestige rev pro. Any ideas?

This Verdasco guy changes racquet brands/racquets every time he gets a haircut it seems. Every other time I go to this forum; I see his name pop up about him having a black out racquet or rumor of changing brands! LOL!

Probably the same frame he was using before with a different cosmetic.... Or at least something very similar. That being said his jump to babolat wasn't like that.

I am 100% sure. I have one of his Dunlop racquets. Under the paint is the same frame as a tecnifibre t fight 315 limited 16m
Maybe in an initial transition period but surely he used dunlop after that. I remember a pic when he was training with Cahill, he had about 8 frames all slightly different make up and perhaps weighting etc that he was deciding between and they were all dunlop.

His Dunlop frames were not even a Dunlop mold. They were a copy of his tecnifibre frames made by Dunlop's OEM.

Fair enough... I know you have the inside track on this type of stuff vsbabolat. In that case it seems strange that he has changed racquets so much after Dunlop, when he had used the same frame for years

Not anymore, his new "prestige rev pro" is a completely different frame. It's is a lot slimmer and the beam is a lot thinner, defientely different than the old radical he was using
The radical is 22mm straight, please define A LOT thinner?!
BTW, Verdasco was on and off with the Radical and 16x19 Speed variants.

@vsbabolat Watching Verdasco/Nadal in Quatar right now and his frame looks more like a mid than a 98/100 type frame to me - You have any news on this? I'd absolutely love it if he'd finally settle on the PC600 mold and go on to dominate in 2016.

edit: from @futureverdasco 's pics it looks like it's not a mid after all :( My lo res stream got me seeing mirages

What I was trying to say was, it's like telling the difference between a pure strike frame and a pure control frame. One frame is skinnier and slimmer than the other

It would be great if someone knew the actual specs of his new racquet, because he is now endorsing the new "graphene xt prestige rev pro" you can tell by his racquet not having cap grommets. It is really weird for him to change to a 93 square inch frame, highly unlikely

Thanks for the great photo. It is now also confirmed that verdasco is using the paint job of the new graphene xt prestige rev pro. Do you think he's actually using a 93 square inch frame?

Looking at the grommet, it could very much be a Prestige REV Pro. I also counted 16 mains from another pic.
Looks like he went back to his old string setup of Lux ALU and Lux ALU Feel.

Doesn't anyone think that cilic's rev pro headsize looks a lot bigger than verdascos rev pro. I actually maybe think verdasco might be using a 93 square inch.

Verdasco's does look like the Rev Pro. No way Cilic's is though. Head size is bigger and if anything it would look even smaller against Cilic, he's what, 6'6"?

Is that 'MID' written on Haase's racquet? I hope so. The guy is cool enough for staying true to his mid, but if it says it on his racquet too, even cooler.

On a side note, Stepanek who was using the same racquet as Verdasco (The Djokovic racquet), has also gone to a Prestige PJ, not sure if he actually switched racquets or not though

@robbo1970 yup it says Mid on his racquets. Way cool. I wish HEAD would be kind enough to sell them to us.

That is sub zero.

Haase comes across as a nice guy and is good to watch, but Head must think highly of him to create racquet graphics just for him. Lifetime sponsorship perhaps.

Personally I think the new Prestige PJ is probably the best since the PC600, so to have one of the 'proper mids' would be a bit of a dream.

Agreed, it's a great one. Hope the paint is matte, not glossy (but from the video it seems it's glossy).

Well, all of the pictures I see on TW and the Head websites show matte paint, but the pro's on TV seem to have glossy paint, which suggests a paintjob to me.
